บท 138: The lies

"I have to go,'' I tell her, still a little out of breath from what just happened. I am making all the wrong moves right now. This is a mistake but I don't know if I can go back from what just happened. 

It is not even about the thought that if I stay, I could have all of her. I don't even want to think about it because it will just make it so much harder to go back and I know I need to right now. 

I was supposed to come to the shadow pack to find out what Lowell is up to. I know that he intends to come to the blood moon pack. All I need to do is tell Alpha Malin and it might just get me on his good books but at the same time, if I do that, I will just be betraying Tala. 

"Where are you going to?" she questions curiously.

She is watching me; her cheeks are flushed red and her eyes are bright. She is trying to read my mind.
