August 04, 2022- Saturday.
August 05, 2022- Sunday.
After screaming, Beauty again looked at her phone and read Lance's message once again, saying, "Here's my sister's FB name, Lochan Chang. HAHA, good luck!"
Beauty laughed like no end because of the thrill she was feeling at the moment. After reading, she then searched the name on the search bar and successfully found the actual account of Lochan. She quickly sent a friend request to Lochan before she went to sleep. She was hoping she would get a response from Lochan in the morning. So, she prayed and slept tightly with her heart, very happy.
The following day, Beauty woke up early with a notification on her Facebook account. She was thrilled because the information was all about a friend's confirmation.
Lochan accepted her friend request! Beauty felt like her heart jumped out from her chest because of so much happiness. She couldn't explain what she was feeling at that moment. Although she felt like being hyper, she was able to calm herself down.
After a few minutes, she faced the nervousness and started to chat with Lochan first with a greeting, "Hi!". She's hoping she will get a reply from Lochan, and Beauty didn't expect that Lochan would reply to her just a few seconds after she sent the message.
Lochan replied and said, "Hello." (with a smiling emoticon) Beauty can't explain what she felt at that time. Beauty then didn't hesitate to chat back to Lochan and said, "How are you? How's your day?" then Lochan replied and said, "Good. How about you?" Beauty then answered and said, "I'm also good. I'm a bit tired, but right now, I'm very alive and not feeling tired anymore."
Beauty's phone was quiet for several minutes because Lochan did not respond. But after several minutes of waiting for Lochan's reply, Lochan's reply came and said, "Sorry for the very late reply. Just got done with doing some important stuff. Anyway, I just want to ask you this if you don't mind. How did you know my FB name? Hehe,"
Beauty then hesitates to tell the truth. Still, her inner self dictates, to tell the truth, and so Beauty replied, "Your brother Lance messaged me the details last night, and I was surprised, shocked, and confused. I'm sorry."
"Ah... I see. Don't worry, it's okay. Hehe btw, Advance Happy Birthday!" Lochan responded.
Beauty then quickly responded and said, "Thank you so much! How did you know that it was my birthday yesterday?"
"My brother Lance told me HEHE," Lochan replied. "Btw, How old are you now?" Lochan added. "I'm now 16. Old already,"
Beauty responded. "Oh! Sweet 16!. Anyway, we're the same. I'm also 16,"
Lochan replied. Beauty blushed and thrilled, knowing that they were their same age, and she thinks like they were meant to be.
Beauty then replied, "Really? But you're turning 17?"
"Absolutely. This coming August 26." Lochan responded.
While Beauty reads the response of Lochan, she again gets the thrill, and she thinks that maybe they were meant to be because not only are they currently the same age, but they were both August's babies. She wanted to believe that everything between the two was just a coincidence, but her positive mind spoke and said, "You're meant to be. Claim it!"
*Beauty and Lochan continued their conversation until Beauty opened up about her plan to attend mass this coming Sunday*
"I am about to attend a mass this coming Sunday." Beauty opened up a new topic.
Lochan then replied and said, "Will your parents approve of you going out alone?"
Then Beauty replied, "Yes, of course. Anyway, it would be nice if I had a companion." She purposely said it to tell Lochan to accompany her the coming Sunday for the mass. And she's not disappointed because
Lochan replied, "Please let me accompany you." "Sure! What time would you prefer?"
Then Beauty replied with excitement. "Maybe 4 pm, 5 pm, or 6 pm? It's up to you. What time would you like?" Lochan responded.
Beauty then replied, "Is it okay 5 pm? At the "People of God Church." Lochan replied, "Sure. It's up to you. I'll be fine whatever your decision is."
Beauty felt the butterflies in her stomach again and started imagining how it felt to be in a conversation with Lochan in person.
Then Beauty replied, "Alright then, see you soon. Take care and God Bless."
"Thank you. God Bless you too."
-FAST FORWARD-
*Their conversation continued. Sunday then came, their first mass together*
Sunday came, and Beauty woke up early and was very excited because it was the day she would attend mass together with Lochan, her crush. Beauty then chatted with Lochan, "Good morning, Lochan. See you later." Beauty got no quick response from Lochan and what was in her mind was, "Maybe she is just still asleep. I'll just wait."
Beauty is indeed a positive thinker.
While waiting for Lochan's response, she started preparing for what she would want to bring later at the mass. The necessary and helpful things for them include an umbrella, bottle of water, handkerchief, and of course, money. She also prepared her black long sleeves and white fitted pants. After completing everything, she went out of her room, headed downstairs, organized, and ate her breakfast. After eating her breakfast, she received a message from Lochan and replied to her letter a while ago. "Good morning too, Beauty. See you later too."
Beauty then replied, "Great! By the way, what color of t-shirt or your t-shirt upper would you wear later? HEHE"
Then Lochan replied, "Usually, I wear black every time I go out because it's one of my favorite colors."
Upon reading, Beauty felt the butterflies in her stomach again, for the first time in the morning. She knew she had already prepared a black t-shirt for her upper, and knowing that Lochan would also wear a black t-shirt later, she again felt the destiny, that they were aligned to each other. They are meant to be!.
She then calmed her heart first and replied to Lochan, "I already prepared for a black t-shirt! HAHA. We think the same. Just sharing HEHE! By the way, before I forget, let's just meet later at the Walmart Store near Grasshome, okay? I'll wait for you there later."
"Noted, Beauty," Lochan replied.
*They continued messaging each other, and the time came*
Beauty messaged Lochan and said, "Lochan, I'm already here. Where are you all ready? I'll just wait, okay? Take care."
"Alright, Beauty. I'm on my way already. Take care also. See you." Lochan replied.
*The two then meet*
Beauty approached first with shyness. "Lochan, nice meeting you."
"Nice to meet you too, Beauty. How are you?"
Lochan responded. "I'm very grateful. How are you?" Shall we go to church now?"
Beauty responded. "I'm also very grateful (smiled). Yes, sure. Let's go!"
*The two of them went in Lochan's car and headed towards the church. After several minutes, the two arrived safely*
"Thank God we arrived safely here. Thank you for the ride." Beauty said to Lochan. "Absolutely. You're welcome. Let's go. Let's find seats."
*The two looked for vacant seats and successfully found two seats*
"There"! Lochan uttered while pointing to the two seats. They rushed towards the seats because the mass was about to start.
*The mass had started and successfully ended. They then decided to go first to a plaza near the church before going home.*
"Lochan, do you mind if we go to "Plaza Moria" first before going home? You know, to unwind and get to know each other. What do you think?" Beauty said.
"Sure Beauty, Ii was also about to say that. Let's go." Lochan replied.
*The two then hopped-in in the car and went to the nearby plaza. After two minutes, they arrived safely and parked the car first.*
The two got out of the car and found a good seat for two, which faces the mountain. "Oh! What a lovely spot for us!" Beauty said. "Definitely! (laughed) Let's now take a seat." Lochan responded.
*The two of them talked and talked until….*
"Lo–cha—n. I have something to tell you….."
