Qiao Mei looked at the machines and fell into deep thought. If she was able to bring these machines back to her home country, she would not need to hire so many people. However, now was still not the right time to do so.

At the moment, most people in their home country were employed in manual work. If they brought such machines back, a large number of people would be laid off and that would in turn affect many families. It was better to find out more about how the machines work and develop their own version after returning home. This way, they could save costs and at the same time, create jobs for those researchers.

The land was plowed very quickly and Qiao Mei planted the seeds slowly. She especially liked doing this. Whenever she was in the field, she always felt an unprecedented sense of relaxation and joy.
