บท 140: Chapter CXL - Prehistoric Region

After the notification appeared, an announcement rang throughout The World:

<Congratulations to Mawu of The Phantom Enigmas for being the first person to have an Exemplary Beast as a Companion!>

Everyone began cheering as they ran toward Mawu; RyuK was the only one who remained silent, casually approaching him. Mawu summoned the Rock Drake, which had lost some of its size, resembling the standard variant; however, it maintained its jet-black color with red feathers.

When he summoned it, a notification appeared requesting the name for the drake; Mawu thought about it for a moment and settled on "Ebony" as the name.

After a brief respite to regenerate their stats, everyone resumed their journey down the mountainous path into the valley. It couldn't be recognized due to the distance away, but once they descended into the area, all the fauna were vastly different from everywhere else they had been.
