บท 36: An Ally Proposal

"Where is that ugly old man?" Val whispered as she playfully greeted his dad's most trusted men at the receiving area in his office. They are almost like her family as they have been around ever since she can remember. They have also been her constant playmates over the years of her toddler days. And she trusts them with her and her dad's life every day.

They are all used to her cheerful and boyish character. They might even be surprised if she ever gets serious with them.

"He's having a meeting with someone inside his office." Answered a smiling Martin. Her dad's right hand.

"Do you think it will be long before they're done?" Val took out her books and things in her bag.
