Someone advised me to write my own review to explain things that I couldn't include in a synopsis. So here we go. 1. English isn't the author's first or second language so there are some mistakes. And the author will be grateful if you point them out to him. 2. Pacing is slow. There are new OCs introduced, and some world background added. And Author tries to follow the rule 'show, don't tell' as much as his writing skills allow him to. 3. The story concentrates on cultivation and kingdom building mostly so it may get a bit boring. 4. Author tries to fill the plot holes of the original as much as he can and tries to make every development as logical as possible. All of the cheats MC gets will follow the rules of the world. So there will be no system or other otherworldly powers. 5. Events will part ways with canon the further it goes. So it will be a completely different story from canon if the author will be able to finish it.

I have never seen a FF where nie lie is the protagonist and thanks to the earth knowledge he got by absorbing that poor dude he changed his stupid mindset and now plans ahead properly!. Also, dont take 10000 chapters to bed the girls and give us a juicy chapter

Well, its a good story but for me its just too much things invented, i can understand all cell phones, the walkietalkies but camon ghost hunting for several chaps just for one mansion the he bought?...Nah too much.

Loved it, this is by far one of the best TDG novel on this novel. Mc is smart enough to not just offend everyone like in original. and author made even the reaction of enemies realistic like sacred family not just start sending assassins after him just because he offended that shen boy. Overall loved the take on the story and this is actually the first time i am reading a novel where a original nie lie have modern knowledge rather than a modern person with nie lie's knowledge.

In NU someone posted this as a good novel. I was skeptical as this is WN we are talking about but It's good, VERY GOOD!!. But to my tastes, i hope for more romance and some âdûlt stuff, the juicy and detailed kind!. I found it hilarious about nie lie ranting about haters of his character that he should found a 100 old hag lol. Maybe he can enchant some accesories to boost cultivation speed? he can study the amulet and make 10 rings, one for each finger to boost cultivation maybe?

Its really really good. The grammar is very good, story development is awesome and the characters are well done. The only thing i believe it lacks is more world background. Also its very good that Nie Lie managed to get the memories of a person who read the novel from earth, even if the memories are fragmented and missing parts. WIth the person from earth knowledge, it boosted out Nie Lie quite a lot and humbled him.

Very nicely done by the author. This story develops in a much more natural and thought-out way than the original story. Though the MC can come off as a bit too cautious at times, I personally think it turned out great. The MC is MUCH better than the extremely impulsive, illogical, and unyielding MC from the original TDG (i.e. less Chinese 'young master' vibes). The extra world building was also very well done in my opinion. The only thing that was a bit 'meh' for me was the ghost house arc but thankfully it didn't last long. If the story continues, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a nice alternate version of the original story.

Kudos for a well written fanfiction as well as combing earthly knowledge to the current traverser MC which improved a lot of his potential and gravely reduced the regular chinese vibe "young master" MC. The story develops greatly with well placed plots and additional stories not included in the regular novel which greatly improved this fanfic prospects. This is one of the greatest MC of TODAG fanfic I have ever read (due to less young master MC vibes) wherein MC used his earthly knowledge and past experiences as a traverser. The only flaw I see is the stability of the updates but whelp we can't blame author-san for that as he is making sure he provides us a quality over quantity fanfic ;) Kudos and I am hoping to see further developments and will update my review. -Chapter 77, out.

the characters are very detailed, the details are to the point, excellent grammar which is always a plus on this site. its not a blatant copy paste of plot, the author actually makes his own very engaging plot and fights. fights are not, 'oh ii ank higher than you so i win' there is strategy involved. Updates could be more regular but writers block is a thing in good fics so as long as its not too much, its good. overall one of the best tdg fanfics and overall novel here. should be ranked higher honestly but the updates are slow so yeah
