บท 112: The decision

(Meghan)

By the time Meghan woke up, Ray had already prepared breakfast for the both of them. She walked groggily into the living room and found him setting plates on the dining table.

"Hey, good morning." He said. "Hope you slept well."

"Morning." Meghan greeted back. "Are those pancakes?" she asked looking at the table.

"Yeah, I found some pancake mix while rustling through the kitchen cabinets. They didn't have any maple syrup or chocolate sauce though. Just this small bottle of honey." Ray said, picking up it up off the table and showing it to her.

"Ahh, that's fine." Meghan said as her eyes went towards the clock on the wall. "Oh jeez, it's almost eleven?" she asked. "I didn't realize it was this late."

"Yeah, let's eat our fill and head out." Ray told her, "We need to go check out Varakala today. If we're lucky, we can make it past the town without having to face another hurdle."
