บท 77: Experiments

(Ray)

Ray fell back on the couch, his mind and body almost at the brink of a breakdown. All he wanted to do in that moment was to shut his eyes and let sleep take over him. It was only through sheer will that he forced himself to remain awake. That and the fear that the Erratic tied up on the floor would somehow escape from his binds and maul him to death.

He glanced over at the creature who snarled in a low voice and snapped his teeth at the air. Compared to how feisty he was when they had first encountered him, the Erratic now seemed much more mellowed down. Ray didn't know for sure but based on how the Erratic was acting, it almost seemed like he was tired too.
