Helena sat back in the chair. Her eyes looked at Alan walking closer to her after telling the seller about his order.
"Wing?" Helena asked as Alan sat in the chair opposite her. They could face each other with the table as separating them.
"As usual," replied Alan, smiling with fang slightly longer and sharper than the other people.
Helena always liked Alan who smiled, because when he smiled with a small dimple.
Besides that, Helena was very happy when Alan's canines were visible and very adorable in Helena's eyes.
It's maybe a factor of Helena with nothing fangs. In her four canines, only one looked like a fang on the lower left side. The rest of the fangs were small and blunt at the ends.
For that reason, Helena preferred fish than chicken. But she often ate chicken more than fish. Because she didn't enjoy eating fish from restaurants for some reasons. If she ate outside place, she would always order chicken. It's about cleaning that chickens were easier to clean than fish, so Helena thought chickens were safer.
"Eh, I got perfume by the boss!" said Helena for the first time, taking it from her bag since leaving Sebastian's room.
"Huh? Really? Did you steal it?" asked Alan, surprised when seeing the box. Before the girl took out the contents of the box. Alan already knew what product it was.
"No!" shouted Helena in annoyance.
Today many people accused her be thief. In addition, Alan was the same.
"How can boss give you this expensive perfume! Or do you become the boss's mistress, huh?" Alan asked excitedly. "Eh but boss hasn't married yet," continued Alan then remembered the fact.
"Do you think boss wanna have a mistress like me?" Helena asked Alan too.
Alan should give that question 'Lah, does the boss like you?' but why instead turned to Helena, who asked that question for herself.
"Do you like him?" Alan asked Helena.
Helena looked at the teenager, 17 or 18 years old, who came in with a tray with two glasses of iced tea on it.
"Thank you," Helena said with a sweet smile to the teenager.
After the teenager left, Helena turned to Alan that removing his tie, then answered the question. "Of course, he's handsome, rich too," Helena answered casually
"Ugh, disgusted!" said Alan, hitting Helen on the head with a neatly folded tie.
"No, it's crazy to be a mistress. I'm still traumatized!" annoyed Helena.
Helena took a piece of white cracker, then bit it sadistically because she couldn't hold her hunger anymore.
"You know, right!" replied Alan shortly. He didn't want to continue the discussion about the mistress. It hurted Helena.
"Then how can you get this perfume? This price is the same as my basic salary for a month." Alan said.
Alan opened the cap of the perfume, then inhaled the scent from where the perfume came out. Helena would be angry with him if he used the perfume when he hasn't taken a bath. That's why he inhaled the scent from the perfume's outlet.
"Expensive perfume is different," Alan muttered, still being heard by Helena. "So?" asked Alan, waiting for an explanation for the girl's silent since the discussion on 'mistress'.
"This morning I went with Mr. Bastian, and I left my lunch box in the car. When I wanna take it, I was accused of stealing by security. Then I was forcibly pulled into Mr. Bastian's room, because my arm was grabbed, Miss. Delima tried to see if it was bruised or not. You know that a few days ago I fell and bruised," said Helena, holding her hand that was treated by Delima with great care.
"So your bruised hand was gripped tightly by security? What's his name?" Alan asked immediately, with emotion.
"It doesn't matter, he's already been scolded by Mr. Bastian," said Helena, not wanting to be the big problem.
Alan sighed tiredly, then looked at the plate from the teenager who delivered the previous drink, and once again Helena said thank you to the teenager.
One of the character that Alan disliked was her submissive nature. In fact, he knew Helena's arm was too hurt and it must have been very painful to hold by a man that had power.
But Helena didn't wanna say who had treated her badly. It's was just enough scolded by the boss. But it wasn't same like the pain Helena endured.
"So what's related t perfume?" Alan asked, relenting with Helena, who did not wanna discuss the security.
"Miss. Delima treated her with hot water and kept pressing it into the bruised area. Yes, it was definitely painful. Then I spontaneously rebelled and pulled my hand. Maybe Mr. Bastian was excited. So he held me and I smell Mr. Bastian's perfume." Helena said happily, telling Alan.
"Let me guess, he promised this perfume if you finish the treatment by Delima?" Alan asked, guessing the situation. Because Helena's innocent and direct nature would make her boss directly give reward if she obeyed. 'you're already like a child, Alan thought.
"Right!" Helena replied cheerfully, then Helena's hand went into the hand washing bowl.
Alan just chuckled and then washed his hands in another bowl of water. Everyone got their own handwashing bowl to make it cleaner.
"Itadakimasu!" said Helena after reading the prayer.
"Itadakimasu!" replied Alan.
They ate their meals in silence. They were thinking about something, but neither one tried to raise a voice. Not Helena, not even Alan.
They enjoy a fried chicken dish in penyet with chili paste. It's special menu from the tent stall. Then a compliment was with fresh vegetables as basil leaves, cabbage, and cucumber .
"So, is it because I'm getting a nephew that you have to get married?" Helena asked as she continued to wipe the menu in front of her.
