Conflicted

Adrian paced in his office; One hand in his pocket and the other one running through his hair now and then. It was almost nighttime and the moon shone brightly above the sky, outside the large floor-to-ceiling window, illuminating the bustling city below.

Since morning, one thought had been occupying his mind that he couldn’t even bring himself to attend the numerous meetings or get any work done.

The pent-up anger building inside him for many days; the surging emotions swirling in a tornado of rage; the anxiety and frustration, all threatening to erupt, were suffocating him, he could barely breathe in a steady rhythm.

He plunge down on the couch, loosened his necktie and breath out a huge breath. He doesn’t want to be like this. The source of his frustration, he couldn’t pinpoint whether it was due to the marriage or something else.
