Early the next morning, Cherish Turner had a deep sleep. Due to thinking about things the night before, she hadn't been able to fall asleep until the early hours of the morning. But as she woke up, she couldn't see Lewis anywhere.
"Lewis?" Cherish called out, but no one responded. She anxiously tossed the blankets aside, but she still couldn't find any trace of Lewis.
Putting on her clothes and rushing out of the room, William Griffith was lying on the sofa, looking like he hadn't fully woken up. Cherish, unable to care about their argument, hurriedly ran over and pushed him awake:
"William, wake up! Lewis is missing!"
William was still somewhat groggy, having not slept well the entire night. He was extremely tired at this moment. Cherish, unable to care about that now, lifted the coat covering him and asked, "Lewis! Where is Lewis?"
"Lewis?" Only then did William jump up, only to discover that there was no sign of their son in the room.
