บท 27: "Revealed"
After Paulo leaving Catherine and finally made his decision that he choose football over her this made Catherine heartbroken and feel even more melancholic. She seriously can't believe that how could Paulo just put their long time friendship into a dreadful end over football. Catherine was feeling very disheartened but at a same time she also developes ill feeling towards Paulo, she really want to seek some revenge against him. She just also want him to feel the same way that she is feeling right now hence she wants him to suffer and end his moment of happiness which he does feel while playing football. She walks away from their to her home with the teary eyes.
During her way to home she was still having the picture in her mind about how Paulo ended their old relationship like an piece of dead wood is burned into the ashes. The series of moments were going inside her head but now she had completely decided to take all of his happiness away from him just like had taken away from her. While walking down the street she came across to the restaurant which run by Paulo's father Fabian, she was standing outside of the restaurant and was thinking something, after that she just heads towards the restaurant. She enters the restaurant and was in the search of Fabian she asked the waitress working about his whereabouts, she tells her that Fabian is in the kitchen she can afterwards but Catherine insists her to let her go and meet Fabian because he know her already and she wants to tell him something that is very important.
Catherine was trying to get in the kitchen but the waitress stops her and ask her to leave and come afterwards but Catherine was not listening to her at all. Later that moment Fabian came out of the kitchen and saw Catherine having an argument with the waitress he felt something strange and goes to ask her.
"Cathy ! You here ? Is everything alright ?" after that Catherine replied.
"Oh.. 'Bouona Serata' Mr. Romani I wanted to talk something important to you but your working staff isn't allowing me to do so." Catherine after complaining about the waitress to Fabian, he allows her to come and told the waitress that.
"Don't worry ! She lives in my neighbouring house, she just like my relative let her come in." After that the waitress allows her to go with Fabian inside the kitchen to have some personal conversation. They both entered the kitchen where Fabian is cooking the Alfredo pasta. While cutting the spinach he asks Catherine.
"So Catherine ! you came into my hotel after a long time would you like to eat something ? Well I am making an Alfredo I am sure you will like it, just have some." Fabian insists her to have some Alfredo pasta made by him but Catherine doesn't want to eat right now.
"No... No thank you so much Mr. Romani but not right now I am not that much starving at all." Catherine rejects to eat the Alfredo offered by Fabian but Fabian joked off by saying.
"Well I know why are you saying No because you think that I am no longer a good chef anymore, my food doesn't taste good anymore, am I right ?" After Fabian made a joke of it, Catherine became serious and said.
"No ! Mr. Romani No, you misunderstood me that's not the case in fact you are still one of the greatest chef in the town right now nobody can even reach the limit of your food that you make. Please you have to believe me that still the most beloved chef in the town and your food is still 'Squisito'. Catherine after complimenting about his food he later revealed to her that he was just joking.
"Don't worry, Don't worry I was just joking calm down, there is nothing to be serious about it." Fabian laughs off. He further continuous and said.
"Well what do you want to talk about, why are you here, is there something important to tell ?" Fabian her the reason of coming in the hotel today she said.
"Well Mr. Romani I want to tell you something very important." After that Fabian asked.
"What important ?" later that moment she tells him that.
"Mr. Romani it is about your son Paulo." Fabian asked her.
"What about Paulo ?" Then Catherine finally tells him that.
"Mr. Romani since last week's Paulo is telling you that after the college he is working in the college library as an librarian, am I right ?" later Fabian replied.
"Yes, yes he is." Then Catherine tells him about Paulo's lies.
"Actually Mr. Romani he lied to you and not just you but to everyone in your family since past two weeks, the truth is this he is not working as a librarian in fact he is." Catherine telling Fabian about how Paulo lied to them and he is playing football.
On the other hand Paulo reached to the training ground very late and Fabio told him that.
"You are late, you have came one prior when the training session ends." Paulo replied him by telling him reason why he got late.
"Yeah I know I've got late today because of my college work they had given me lot of tasks to complete after the college that is the reason why I got late." Paulo after telling him the reason of getting late he started to get ready for the practice. He was about to start some warm up exercises alongside Fabio, as soon as he is about to start his Ale Piola reaches him. Paulo was getting nervous as he is thinking that now the coach is going to take some serious action against him for coming at the training very late. The coach reached him and asked.
"Paulo why are you so late today? You just came one hour before the training session end." Paulo tells him the reason why he got late.
"Actually coach today in the college I had lot o of work to do, the teachers given me so much tasks and in completing them I got late. I am extremely sorry for that." Paulo apologised for his mistake while Piola understand his problem and said.
"It's ok you don't need to be sorry, it happens I understand you are a college student and there are some works to which you can't deny and are sometimes necessary to do, but yeah don't repeat it next time alright." Piola forgives Paulo for his mistake and then he asked Fabio to do his shooting drills as he wants to talk to Paulo alone. Fabio listened to him and leave them alone after that Piola talk to him something about his fitness.
"Paulo to you fine, you don't any sort discomfort and pain in your muscles while training ?" Paulo replied him no and said he is completely fine but then the coach give him some piece of advice.
"Paulo I want you to take some rest, that's why will take a day off tomorrow." Paulo asked him the reason why he replied.
"Because you will get fatigue on your match day and you might not play at your hundered percent. So you need to fuel yourself C'mon ! take a rest for tomorrow ok ?" Paulo agreed to his coach and then the coach asked him to continue practcise after that Paulo goes for practicing.
