“Where the fuck is this Billy hump? I can’t believe this hillbilly asshole thinks he can get away with swindling me.”

“Do you think he went around you to the buyer? Cut out the middleman?”

“I don’t see how; how would he know who that is? No, something else is going on; maybe he wanted the girl for himself.”

Yeah, that sounds more like it. He’d been acting suspiciously ever since I first mentioned him bringing her to me like I was taking away his favorite toy or something, so there was no doubt he had a thing for the girl who I was sure would have nothing to do with the piece of shit. From what I’ve heard about her so far, she wouldn’t have had anything to do with him if her life depended on it.
