บท 41: Chapter 41

While standing at the starting line, Leo felt ready to toss his hands in the air and leave. It had been nearly the week Millianna had request of him and he was a single hair breath away from murdering his trainees he supposed to look over. For one week, they drove his single nerve to the ground and their only saving grace was Millianna.

However, even that was on the last straw as she felt sore, tired and about ready to kick them out of the guild or allow them to be bottom of the bottom mages. For the entire week they fought back refusing to work with him, showed up late or skipped out. Hence, Millianna who tried to make them better mages felt her efforts went to waste.

Writing down the final assessment, Leo decided to cut this training over. He wasn't expecting anything amazing to be done in a week. Yet, they managed to prove how wrong he is as it seems they were worse then before they started.

With a single breath containing all his grievances for doing this job. Leo sat down in front of Millianna who was looking over a few papers. They seemed to be quests that are above most guild members or requests to enter the depth of Forsaken Forest.

"Well, they failed, no surprise." Leo spoke first.

"I figured, but at least you stuck it out until now." Millianna said as she sat the papers down.

She stood up and slowly strolled in front of him before straddling his lap. Her fingers rolled over his chest as she lightly kissed him on his forehead in appreciation. Which he returned as he gently kissed her neck as his hands caressed her body.

"Still it is hard to believe they would pass up the chance to train under a level ten martial artist."

"Well, it's their loss, now let's not talk about them. Is there an issue I can help with?" Leo asked, slightly concerned. "You seemed troubled when I came in."

"Nothing, just both Blue Magic and Adventurer Guild trying to pressure my small place. Neither one likes it that they lose promising recruits and possible money. Still think you can help?"

Unbuckling his pants, she slowly awoke his beast as she slowly stroked it. Leo just smiled as he groped her nicely shaped butt.

"Yeah, probably not. Business isn't my cup of tea." Leo whispered into her ear.

Nibbling on her ear lobe as he began planting a line of kisses on her. His desire for her awakened as one of his hands sunken into her black briefs. He allowed his magic fingers to work their magic as they played with her love garden.

"While I would love to continue, but I have some work to do."

Millianna kissed him before getting off his lap. Grumbling at being done like this, Leo fixed his clothes.

"I will have my revenge tonight." Leo said as he left.

Inside the forging room, Leo decided that hammering some metal could release his pent up stress. So now as he hammer out all the impurities he could, he thought about what he should make out of it. Should he just make a basic sword the best he could or should he push his limits in something he was unsure will turn out good.

Thinking about it a bit, he decided to push his limits and see what he could create. If it turns out great, he will just give it to his girls. On the other hand if it turns out bad, he can just recycle it and try again.

"Tell me Leo, are you satisfied with your current life?" Jack asked as he appeared in the room.

Thinking about it, Leo nodded as his life is pretty good. He has his dream and is living it everyday. If anything it could be lacking in excitement and if it was a novel, it wouldn't do well he thought.

"What is wrong with it?" Leo asked him.

"Nothing, it was just when you first came to me I could see the drive in you, but now. I can barely see it." Jack commented.

Leo stopped moving as his hammer hung in the air. He didn't know why, but he felt slightly annoyed at that since it's the truth. He hasn't really had much to challenge him nor spark his interest lately. Well, besides the week he just finished with trying to turn terrible mages into less terrible mages.

"I guess that is true." Leo spoke slowly.

"What is your dream? Your driving force he had previously."

"To be surrounded by beautiful women and have a harem that rivals the gods." Leo shrugged.

Jack just lifted a finger and didn't say anything. He appeared as if he really wanted to but nothing came out. Since it was well known that he lives in a mansion filled with just that on the edge of town.

"You have a beautiful dream, but don't you want to be something else? The best blacksmith in the world, a hero or richest person?" Jack asked.

"Why do I need to be the best blacksmith in the world? Besides, isn't that a debatable title?" Leo answered.

To him, being able to craft whatever he wanted and give it to his family. It will show he cared for them in his own way. So reaching for a title just to gain recognition from strangers, why would he put in the effort if they're not pretty girls?

As for becoming a Hero or the richest person. Why would he want such a troublesome title. Being the hero isn't fun as everyone expects perfection or you to clean up their mess they made. Finally, for being the richest, he has no desire for such a thing as it is easy to gain massive wealth.

"I guess, but my student you must have something to strive for. Even if it is a silly thing or near impossible, then you will find life more interesting."

Leo hesitated on his answer, "I will think about it."

A smile formed on Jack's lips as he saw a small drive in Leo once more.
