บท 73: Can't we have something more than this?

Zac stopped the car at the intersection and waited for the traffic light to turn green.

He touched Hazel's head and said, "Don't worry about what happened to Valery's family."

She shrugged and replied, "I'm just curious. How on earth did she die?"

"I heard that she was murdered by an addict, but I was still in America when it happened, so I don't know all the details about it," Zac said, understating what really happened. He started driving again.

'An addict?' Thinking of this, Hazel snorted in her mind. In her opinion, somebody must have hired a murderer to kill the woman.

The mistress had an in with Baron, and she had a son of his. So naturally, she was a threat to the status of Elizabeth and her son, and Elizabeth had to take a risk and get rid of her as soon as she could.

Some people were perfectly capable of doing such a thing.
