Henry Russell immediately wanted to go after Charlotte Cooper, but his mother held him back: "Your sister is still in so much pain, go call a doctor for me now!"
Henry glanced at Cloud Russell on the bed and had to give up the idea of chasing after Charlotte.
"Charlotte, I know you are not that fragile," Henry thought.
He believed in her.
Charlotte aimlessly walked until dawn, with the guilt still heavy in her heart. She knew there was no use in feeling guilty and that she had to help Cloud recover as soon as possible.
Her phone rang, and she saw it was a call from Henry.
"Where are you?" Henry's exhausted voice came through, making Charlotte's heart twinge.
"......" Charlotte didn't say anything.
"Talk to me, I want to hear your voice," Henry said in a low tone. "I know you're there."
Charlotte suddenly choked up: "Will you blame me?"
