In the spacious and bright office, a person sat on the comfortable office chair, resting his elbow on the wooden desk, rhythmically tapping on the desk with his knuckle-clear fingers, producing crisp tapping sounds.

Reaching out, Alexander Michael picked up the landline on the desk. After dialing a number, a sweet female voice came through, "Mr. Michael, may I assist you with something?" Alexander Michael rubbed his eyebrows and responded solemnly, "Arrange a meeting with Clarity Yates, I have something to discuss with her."

"Alright, please hold on." The call was cut off from the other side, leaving Alexander Michael with an irritated feeling. He loosened the tie around his neck and exhaled audibly.

The vast sea of perpetual human activity beyond the office's floor-to-ceiling windows ensnared his gaze. As he approached the window, a knock was heard at the office door.
