Eden took a seat next to Shenyan and caressed his head.

"Did you sleep okay?"

"I did, do you feel better?"

Eden smiled.

"I do."

When they finished eating breakfast Eden looked around and ordered:

"Leave."

Every maid, guard, and eunuch immediately left. Before when Eden would give them an order they would first look at the emperor but now they know better.

They've seen how he treats him and they don't want to get on Eden's bad side. When the room was empty Eden looked at Shenyan.

"I have to tell you something."

Shenyan looked back nervous, the last time Eden said that to him he didn't like what he heard so he knows that whatever it is will probably upset him. Eden looked at him intently and said:

"I'm pregnant."

Shenyan looked at him dazed.

"You are?"
