บท 14: Ch 14 : Kumo's Spy 2
Boom! !
Without any mercy, the Golem attacked the Kumo's spy.
Its giant rock hand hit the ground hard, and the cracks on the ground start to spread out in all directions.
"Damn!"
The Kumo's spy tried to dodge from Chisaki's golem attack range, but the Golem was just way too fast for him.
The Rock Golem's fist hit the body of the Kumo's spy, and he suffered a not small injury from it.
Obviously, there's no chance for him to dodge the Golem's attack without being injured.
The second attack came, and blood spluttered from his mouth as half of his body was almost crushed by Chisaki's Golem.
"Why..?"
" It's not why. In this ninja world, the rule we follow is the survival of the fittest, and you are just weaker than me!"
Chisaki slowly walked to the injured Kumo's spy, and using his Overhaul ability, Chisaki made a bind made of ground to trap the Kumo's spy.
" Stay here. If you try anything meaningless, then you might even lose your life!"
Said Chisaki in a cold tone as his eyes looked at the Kumo's spy in a cold light.
Even though they were a bit outside of Suna, the movement just now was just a bit too big, and the backup would soon come.
Chisaki didn't kill the spy also for this reason. The spy had a lot of information hidden in them, and if Suna could get some information from the spy, then it would be a good thing for Suna.
After a few years of living in Suna, Chisaki had now regarded Suna as his real home. Suna might not be as rich and prosperous as Konoha, but for the current Chisaki, he liked Suna a lot more than Konoha.
The higher-ups were aligned, and there's no need to be afraid of Danzo lurking in the dark.
Not long after, just like Chisaki's expectation, some Suna anbu's came and brought the spy away.
The anbus thanked Chisaki as he was able to take down the spy without any casualties and catch him, which made everything way easier for them.
As Chisaki was often come and went to the Kazekage's office, he was no stranger to the anbus. He greeted them, and they chatted for a while before the anbus eventually said their goodbye.
Now in the greenland, all that left was only Chisaki and Konan, who were still in a bit of shock from what she had just seen.
" You okay, Konan?" Asked Chisaki as he sat down next to Konan.
" Chisaki.. I don't know. As a future ninja, I should be used to seeing this, but somehow, I felt afraid when I saw him. It felt like my life was flashing right before my eyes... I-"
" You don't need to say anymore, Konan. I understand."
When Chisaki said those words, tears almost came out of Konan's eyes. She thought Chisaki was disappointed with her. She was about to say something, but then, she felt Chisaki's figure was getting closer.
Chisaki's figure was getting closer and closer, and soon he pulled her into his embrace.
" It's okay, Konan. Me too; when the Third Kazekage told me to do a life and death battle, I was also frozen like you. You have done good, Konan, and you don't need to be ashamed of yourself. But if you feel that you can't hold on, just remember that I will always be with you!"
" Ah.."
Konan's face was very red. The words from Chisaki really touched her heart, and now she could only say yes while burying her head deep in Chisaki's embrace.
The two eventually stayed at that position for some time, and they only separated after Chisaki felt that Konan was okay.

While Konan and Chisaki were enjoying their time in the Greenland, the higher-ups of Suna were in turmoil.
The news that Chisaki took down Kumo's spy was already a shock for them, but what was more shocking was the news that they got from the Kumo's spy.
Inside the Kazekage's office, The Third Kazekage, Chiyo, and Ebizo were discussing things together.
" So.. the Second Ninja world war had finally come, huh? *Sigh* In fact, with the current development of Suna, I hope that we have some more time in our hands.." Said the Third Kazekage as he shook his head helplessly.
In the original plot, Suna was very quick to declare war on Konoha because they were after the prosperous land of Konoha, but the Suna now was different. They had just embarked through the path of agriculture, and what they needed the most were time and stable condition.
" No need to think too much, Kazekage-sama. Let's just think of this as an opportunity for revenge. That White Fang, I will not let him go!"
" Say no more, Sis, I will back you up!"
" ... "
Listening to the two old heads who were thinking of revenge, the third Kazekage could only sigh inwardly.
Revenge really tends to blind people, and even though the two elders were already experienced, they were no exception for this.
If they could see better, they would realize that Suna would be better off without the war.
Nonetheless, things have become like this, and the Third Kazekage should prepare himself and Suna for the great Ninja war that would soon envelop the whole ninja world.
