บท 689: Conquering the Mystic Realm Part 4
Not even 10 minutes had passed and Yuki already felt that all of her bones were breaking from the fight the worst part for her was that she hadn't even killed a single one because the Female Statue just kept reviving whenever she killed one or healed a heavily injured one. But when she does try to kill the Female Statue, all of the Guards would just surround her to protect her which makes it hard for her because all of them were simply too powerful for her to take on all at once.
"Fuck… Never in my life, I would think that I would actually struggle against statutes. Even though they are heavy they are insanely fast and their powers are simply incredible…one of these Guards can kill the Grand Priestess or even that God with one attack." Yuki laughed to herself as she began to take a rest.
She has found that the Statues won't attack her unless she is the one who initiates the attack, so if she just stands and takes a rest, the Statues won't do anything to her. So she just took this chance and made a little snow so that her Passive will activate and she will regenerate her lost strength faster.
"Huff… Even guns don't work on these things. Even my Shotgun which can kill a Guardian Rank Cultivator barely did any scratch on all of them, can't also even use my Ice Needles because there is no organ inside of them. The only way for me to win is to use brute force." Yuki said to herself as she looked at the statues with clear intent of wanting to kill them, but can't. She then simply drinks her water to hydrate herself before finally standing up.
"If only Chisato was with me… I would have loved to use the Fairy's Wrath combined with my Fist of Destruction. But do I really need it… let me try something." Yuki said as she stood up and began manifesting an Ice Spear in the air, looking at it closely she made a Magic Circle to enhance it with simple Magics such as Magic Penetration, Armour Penetration, Attack Enhancer, Speed Enhancer, and True Damage which was the most important part of her enhancement.
But she wasn't still finished, she activated her "Fist of Destruction" before holding the Ice Spear in her hands and imaging the Skill going through the Spear because this was something she hadn't done before because it was only a theory, in her knowledge it only works in things that have a Physical Body, but since this Ice Spear doesn't have that as it was made up of Magic, she doesn't know if it will work or not. But she still needed to try as there was a chance that it was her only chance of winning.

Unnamed Origin Skill - A Skill that makes every single attack/thing that it touches deal a rupture effect inside of the enemy's body shattering every bone and fiber of muscle.
"Oh… isn't that quite amazing. So every time I touch while using this Skill, it will have the same effects as me Fist of Destruction now, so that means if I activated it using my whole body as a catalyst, every time I touch something, it would rupture inside. But enough of that, I want to see how much damage this thing would deal on that annoying Female Statue." Yuki grinned as she then held the Spear tightly in her hands before throwing it towards her target.
But under her shocked eyes, she saw how the Female Statue reflected her Ice Spear with just a flick of a finger, and because it was simply too fast for her to react, it hit her directly. If not for her quick reactions, her entire body would have been impaled by the Ice Spear, luckily only her arm was injured because it had completely detached from her body at this point.
"Well, shit. I didn't expect that to happen." Yuki chuckled as she simply ignored the pain in her shoulder, she even found the whole thing funny because if she was any better she would have seen that before it could happen.
"If long range is not going to work, then I'll just get closer myself~," Yuki said as she healed her entire arm using some pills before teleporting beside the Female Statue with two Ice Swords in her hands and plunging them straight into its chest and because she was too fast for everyone to react, she hit it without any disruption, and when she did, all the other Statues fell to the ground as if they died at the same time with the Female Statue.
"That's quite interesting… so all their lives are connected to this single Statue, and now that I have killed it everyone fell down." Yuki laughed as she sat down and waited for the next Mission to start, she was simply relaxing when a figure suddenly appeared in front of her. But it suddenly spoke, but the most shocking part for her was that what the figure was saying matched what the System was telling her to.
"Hello, Lady Yuki. I'm going to be your guide for today in your Mission of conquering this Mystic Realm. Since you have already passed the first part of your Mission, you can now go ahead and start your next Mission. Just go to the chamber below to start it, though I do warn you. You are going to face ghosts and just as you expect from them, they have high resistance to Physical Attacks and almost a 70% resistance against Magic. Good luck…" The figure said as it bowed its head before finally disappearing right before Yuki's eyes.
Just as Yuki was about to ask something more, she felt the ground that she was sitting on shift. She quickly jumped away and looked from a distance and saw a staircase below the floor that led to nothing but darkness.
"Well that answers my question about why this place has a malicious aura, it's because of the Ghost that resides here. But it's too dark inside… let me make a torch first." Yuki said as she grabbed a metal rod from her Storage Ring before wrapping it with a cloth that had been soaked in gas before finally lighting it up on fire.
"Much better, now let's just truly see how powerful these Ghosts are compared to these Statues…" Yuki smiled to herself as she began walking down with pure confidence as she wasn't even scared with the warning of the mysterious figure.
