บท 21: Do As I Say!
"Hadn't I told you not to touch both of them anymore?" Jason, the new boss of the gang in the high school where Alec and Jenny study glowered at his friends.
His eyes once again fell on the bench of Jenny and Alec in which "die! You monster" and "die! You dirty bitch" was engraved in bold letters.
Not even that, the person had even filled red ink to make it look spooky! He rubbed his forehead as he felt the headache building in!
"Why could you just not listen?" he sighed as he ran a hand in his hair and took a deep breath!
They all exchanged glances when they felt that Jason was really angry this time but they did not understand why?
It was not like they were doing this for the first time! They have been bullying both of them since they remember. Now that they are together, shouldn't they tease them more for their funny relationship!?
They all pushed one of them towards Jason with knowing looks as if they were pushing him to talk to Jason on their behalf!
The boy closed eye and took a deep breath as he came forward and looked straight into the eyes of the man,
"Jason! Why have we not bullied Jenny or that brat for a long time? Why are you being so angry with them? Do not tell us that you have started to feel sympathy for them or you have given up on bullying others!
We are a gang! That is what we do? Even the teachers did not like Alec so they would say nothing!" he asked in an aggrieved tone and all the members nodded and stared at Jason for a reply.
Whenever they heard the laughter of both of them, they felt like their skin was crawling! They wanted to go and insult them and beat the shit out of that brat who flaunts Jenny as his girlfriend as if she was the most beautiful girl around.
They have always been the one in the limelight! But after Jack they felt like their powers had gone weak.
They had chosen Jason thinking he would bring them to their peak again but the boy did not let them do a single thing that annoys them!
"It is not even a big thing! We have only decorated the places where they would sit! They should come and thank us for that!" replied another and everyone around them chuckled and nodded their heads.
They were talking in such a righteous tone as if they were right! It was Jenny and Alec who were in the wrong and deserve this kind of punishment.
"Comme on, Jason! Let the matter go and have a swig of cigarette with us. Mike had stolen the pack of his father. We will go and take one whiff on the terrace before the class starts! They assured the man and tried to pull him but he jerked their hands away and stared at them with red eyes.
"Could you not hear me now or are you challenging my authority? I want all of you to stay away from Jenny and Alec! If not, I will tell the school authorities everything about you and what Jack had done.
Not only will you all be resticated but you will not get admission in any other school that easily!
Think about how your family will treat you then!
You will be locked up in your room all your life or you will end up getting beaten by them for a long time!" they all shivered with that thought but then glared at the man as if he was their mortal enemy!
"And you would do all of this so that you could save Alec and Jenny from us?" asked one in a cold voice.
"Are you on our side or theirs Jason? I was not expecting to be threatened by my own leader!" muttered another as he crossed his hands in front of his chest!
"Yeah! Do not forget that you are one of us and if we fall we will pull you with us too!" uttered another gaining strength from the initiators. He looked at Jason as if trying to find his weak point.
"You will bear the same punishments but you will also bear beating from us all your life! So think wisely before threatening us!" added the last one with a snort as he cracked his knuckles as if he was preparing to land a punch on the face of Jason already.
But even after receiving so many threats from all of them, Jason continued to stand there with a nonchalant face. He did not seem to be affected at all.
He swept a cold glance at all of them as if they were nothing but small ants in front of him. There was not even a hint of strain on his cold face as he parted his lips and spoke in a chilly voice,
"Are you done? Do you think I would be afraid of your threats?
Ha! What a joke? Did you forget that my father is one of the trustees of the school? I can never be restricted or thrown out like you or others. You are nothing but a bunch of rats for me and my family!
But I will still reply to your question!
No! I have not developed sympathy for that crazy bitch pair!
They are responsible for the death of Jack and I would take its revenge for sure!" he stopped and swept another glance at the table and then snorted,
"But I will not do that in the kindergarten style. I have a big plan in my mind. But for that I need Alec to be relaxed and oblivious!
If he would be alert, he would not fall into my trap." his eyes turned hazy and a certain kind of madness could be seen on his face. All of his friends felt scared by looking at him and gulped.
"So now, you all will do as I said!"
