บท 80: Dreams and Nightmares

Previously:

"Argh," she groaned, wiping her mouth, "Sorry, Mr. Ying."

Then, as if someone had put a sleeping spell on her, she fell to the ground before Bai could catch her.

"Are you okay?" he asked in alarm, crouching down and gently shaking her arm.

She began to snore loudly, startling him.

"Hmm," he sighed, unable to believe what had just occurred, "She dozed off. Was it the alcohol or our kiss that caused her to vomit? Was the kiss so repulsive that she puked after touching my lips?"

In disbelief, he shook his head.

"No, it can't be. I'm just overthinking things."

He then fixed his gaze on her sleeping face. What he saw and witnessed tonight, her vomit and its putrid stench, were too much for him to bear as a clean freak. But he brushed that aside and gently picked her up before returning inside the house.

Because he was madly in love with her.
