บท 136: A Close Call

In the car, Mo Yan pretended to yawn and sat up straight.

The two men in the front row immediately became alert when they heard Mo Yan's voice. The man in the passenger seat turned around to look while the man in the driver's seat looked at her from the rearview mirror.

Mo Yan seemed to not understand the situation and looked around in confusion. Then, she seemed to have remembered something and asked, "Are you here to pick her up?"

The two men looked at each other when they heard Mo Yan's question. The man in the co-pilot seat looked at Mo Yan warily and asked, "Did you make the call just now?"

Mo Yan nodded. "Yes! Didn't I ask you to pick her up?"

From the conversation between the two of them, it was obvious that they had never met Mo Lian before. That was why Mo Yan dared to put on such an act.

When the man in the passenger seat heard her words, he gave the man in the driver's seat a look.
