All the soldiers hurriedly rushed and picked up their weapons. Their morale was at an all-time high.
They had created a total of 20 crossbow-type Ballista. Five on each side of the island.
Kujou Sara: Soldiers, on arms!
All Soldiers: Yes!
Shouting 25 soldiers stepped forward and took control of one Ballista each.
The good thing was that last time, the "Fleet of Fog" surrounded the Inazuma from all directions before bombarding them. But this time, they were coming from the one direction only.
This made things somewhat simple for the people of Inazuma as they only had to protect themselves from one side.
Five soldiers could be seen near each Ballista in less than a minute. Many arrows were placed at the side of each crossbow. There was a reason why five soldiers were required to use one Ballista.
At this time, one of the soldiers picked an arrow and another came. They both exchanged glances and nodded before their visions started shining. Soon, the elemental power was sucked by the arrow and it started glowing.
While the two soldiers were charging the arrow, another two were doing the same though they were putting their powers into the ballista. In a matter of moments, Ballista started glowing too.
Once they confirmed that the Ballista was fully charged, the two soldiers stepped back and the last soldier came in front and started adjusting the flow of elemental power in it towards where the arrow would be placed later.
It was also the time the two soldiers putting their elemental power into the arrow, stepped forward and carefully placed the arrow on the ballista.
When these two soldiers also stepped back, the one adjusting the flow in the ballista, put his power into the string and pulled it back.
CLICK!!
The weapon was ready.
It might appear that the whole process took a lot of time but in reality, everything took less than 15 seconds to complete.
In the past, when this Ballista was made, everyone thought that they could attack instantly if they kept the arrows and ballista charged in advance. However, they had to put that thought away when they realized that the elemental power in the arrow and ballista would start dissipating after 3 minutes. Hence, they can't be prepared ahead of time.
By now, all the Ballista were ready.
Nodding her head, Kujou Sara pulled out her bow and started charging her arrows. Behind her, were some other soldiers holding on to their bows and doing the same.
As for the remaining ones, they had a Javelin in their hands coated with their elemental powers. One can also see that behind these soldiers, was a huge pile of these very Javelins.
They knew that the prior battle would be a distant one. Hence, they already made preparations for it. After all, compared to some exceptions, others can't walk on the water to reach the enemies.
Seeing that everyone was ready, Kujou Sara gave the command.
Kujou Sara: Fire!

Fleet of Fog.
While the regular flagships of the Fog were at the front, behind them were some special battleships on which the symbol of Fog was of different color schemes.
A person can be seen sitting on the bridge of the one which has a purple symbol.
She looked like a girl in her late teens. She had very long pale-blonde hair made into two spiky buns with two long locks framing her face. She had pale skin, further accentuated by the pale blue lipstick she wore and crimson eyes. Her clothes consisted of a dark purple ballgown with a long train and dark pantyhose.
She was looking at the Narukami Island in front with an apathetic expression.
???: So, that's the island facing which we lost many of us, including I-400 and I-402.
As she said so, a screen appeared in front of her and the person on the other said.
???: We are still not sure about that yet, Kongou. The only thing we know is that we lost contact with them once they arrived in the vicinity of this island. Hence, whether they sunk or are off the radar is still not confirmed.
The pale-blonde girl whose name seemed to be Kongou started pondering about something before opening her mouth.
Kongou: From the information in the database, that was the second time we attacked this island. The first time, all the ships returned safely.
???: Yes. According to the information we received during our first attack, this island shows something more unusual than other human strongholds. It was some kind of force field that protected the island from our attack.
Kongou: Force Field? You mean Klein Field, don't you?
???: That's what makes it unusual. That field is completely different from our Klein Force. While our Klein Field creates a dimensional fold to absorb attack, the force field this island showed was like an Iron wall.
Kongou: Iron Wall. Huh.
???: Yes.
Kongou: Hmm.... How many do you see on your radar, Kirishima?
Kirishima: From what I have checked the humans living on that island are less than 150.
Kongou: Then let's leave it for the others. We don't need to step forward unless it's necessary.
Kirishima: Ok. For now, we will wait and watch.
With that the connection was cut and Kongou put her attention on the island.
Kongou: Whether it's Brick Wall or Iron Wall, everything falls where Fog sails.
As she muttered, another voice spoke. However, instead of calling her through communication, this voice came from the right side.
???: Kongou. Let me make a move. I will end it right away. Then we can return soon.
At Kongou's right, was a heavy cruiser with an orange marking. The person who spoke was also a girl in her teens with waist-long brown hair and brown eyes. Her clothes vary, but there is always something of red color on her. She was wearing a large yellow 'smiley' badge on the right side of her dress.
Compared to the apathetic Kongou, this girl appeared childish and very lively.
Without looking at her direction, Kongou spoke.
Kongou: Not yet, Maya. I want to see what more these humans have in store.
Maya: You think this island can be Humans' hidden trump card?
Kongou: Yes. And if they have something dangerous against us, we must get rid of it and report it back. So, for now, we must put pressure on them, and push them to the corner. By doing that they will have no choice but to reveal their hidden cards.
Maya: Ok, Kongou. I will listen to you.
Kongou: Um.
'Kongou: Let's see what more secrets you are hiding humans.'

On the other side.
There were two battleships. One had a greenish marking and the other had a yellowish marking.
On the bridge of the greenish one was a young woman in her early twenties. She has light-brown hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a colorful sleeveless shirt and pants which had trouser legs of different lengths.
She was Kirishima. The one who was talking with Kongou just a moment ago.
After hanging the call with Kongou, she called the Mental Model of the yellowish marking battleship.
Kirishima: I received the orders from, Kongou. She told us to wait for now.
???: Understand.
Kirishima: Say, do you really think that humans can pose a threat to us?
???: ...If it was before then I would have said no. But…
Kirishima: But?
Asking she moved her head and looked towards the yellow Battleship. To be more precise the person there.
She was a girl with long blonde hair in two pigtails and greenish eyes. Her clothes consisted of a very long dark overcoat.
The girl answered with slight fear in her tone.
???: But after seeing him, I----
Kirishima: That person was not Human!
Before the girl could continue, Kirishima shouted at the top of her lungs.
After that, she hugged her slightly trembling body.
Kirishima: That was…a God. Don't put him in the…same category as humans...Please, Haruna. Don't compare it with Humans...or we are doomed.
Haruna: Um.
The blonde girl whose name was Haruna nodded and didn't continue. Though, she then remembered the day when that screen appeared in the sky.
The person who was looking over at all three realms and judging everyone with his calm, cold, and indifferent eyes.
Just thinking about that gaze sent a chill down her spine. She still remembered how the entire "Fleet of Fog" fell into panic and was horrified as his appearance was very much like humans.
If he was one of the humans then it's the end of Fog the moment he will make his move.
On that day, the Fleet of Fog who had taken the ocean from humans, retreated. Or, to be more precise, flee.
They didn't dare to do anything for the following year.
This resulted in humans taking back the control of ocean one by one.
But Fog didn't care about it at that time. They were thinking what to do if that person came for them.
It put so much pressure on them that they even started wondering if they surrendered to the humans, would they survive.
While pondering about it, they didn't face any such attack from that person which surprised them.
Finally, one of the fleets of fog decided to take a risk and attacked human ships again. They even destroyed the newly built ports again. Then they waited.
Surprisingly, no one came to them for revenge or something.
This elated them and Fleet moved again and started ruling seas again. As for that person, a name appeared in their mind on their own "Eternal Netherworld Emperor". He's a God.
Putting those thoughts away, Haruna spoke.
Haruna: You are right, Kirishima. Putting God and Humans in the same category is blasphemy.
Kirishima: Yeah.
Calming herself, she continued.
Kirishima: Still, we can't change the fact that Humans are unknow variables that must be eliminated at all cost.
Haruna: Um.
At this time, both raised their head and saw the entire sky filled with glowing things.
Kirishima: They are attacking already. Huh. But those things seemed different from missiles or artilleries.
As Kirishima spoke, a circular network appeared around her Haruna before many screens appeared in front of her. She then zoomed them to see what it was.
Haruna: Eh? They are a…arrows.
Kirishima: Arrows? You mean the weapons humans used in the past. During something called the medieval method.
Haruna: Yes.
Kirishima: Are you kidding me? Even modern weapons can't do anything to us because of our Klein Field. Let alone those backward ones.
DR!!
DR!!
DR!!
DR!!
DR!!
Kirishima: See, our Klein Field can easily stop it and the consumption is non-existence.
Haruna: Against them, we don't even need to deploy Klein field in the first place.
Kirishima: Yes.
Then both sighed in disappointment. What human's strongest trump card? What hidden secrets? What danger can they pose to us?
Haruna: It's a waste of time to come here in the first place.
Kirishima: Yeah. I will call Kongou and tell her that we should sink this island already without wasting any time here. I am sure Takao will be more than happy once Kongou agrees.
Haruna: Um. Let's do it.
Shaking their head, they decided to turn their flagships back. But then…
SHATTER!!
SHATTER!!
SHATTER!!
SHATTER!!
SHATTER!!
Hearing this, they both looked back.
Kirishima: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Haruna: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Then both couldn't help but open their eyes wide in shock.
Kirishima: T-That's…Impossible...…
Haruna: The Klein field...is penetrated...….

Tenshukaku.
Primis who was sitting in his office with Ganyu and Shenhe with him, raised the corner of his lips.
Primis: You underestimate your enemies this time, Fleet of Fog.
Once this voice fell, the five battleships in the sea exploded.
BOOM!!
BOOM!!
BOOM!!
BOOM!!
BOOM!!
