Valerie opened the window to her room, feeling the fresh breeze, and came with it was pleasant smell. It was four in the morning, and because she had went to bed early, she woke up during this time.

Moreover, she had some work matters to handle as well with people from other countries. Due to the time zone difference, she had to be awake during this time.

Hearing the knocks on her door got her to be distracted from her thoughts, and wondering who it could be during this time, she went to open the door.

Surprise flashed through her eyes when she saw Lucian standing outside her room, wearing that signature friendly smile and covered in warm clothing. She raised one of her eyebrows, silently asking him the reason for him coming here during this time.

"It seems like you are already awake, and here I was, feeling guilty about having to wake you up. What are you up to?" he voiced out.

"Finished up some work. What do you need?" she responded.
