"Yes, as I said she is safe now Intelli-san." I said to the distraught parent over the phone, making sure that my true feeling didn't enter my voice.
"Are you… Are you sure that she is safer with you?" The frightened voice of Saiko's father came through the phone, but for once I wasn't the source of that fear. Not completely at least.
"Yes, we already took care of the one who attacked her and we'll be able to deal with their whole group in this weekend so her staying with us until Monday would be the safest." I lied as easily as I breathed and it was a testimony of how much I unsettled his mind since Saiko's father didn't even think about the protections of his house, which I had claimed to be enough to protect him and his wife, being good enough to take his daughter in as well.
"I… I understand, sir. Just please… please take care of her." The man said with a trembling voice and I could hear the crying from behind him, courtesy of his wife.
"Do not worry Intelli-san, we will." I said with certainty in my voice and ended the phone call.
"You truly are twisted, sir." Garaki's amused voice came through the corridors, the doctor finding my little act quite funny it seems.
"I just didn't want to deal with some super distraught parent begging me to find his daughter." I shrugged my shoulders and that wasn't a lie, dealing with the man while he had no idea what his daughter wasn't back home would be irritating.
So instead I gave the man a false idea. One where her daughter had been attacked by some gang while on her way home and that she had been saved by yours truly. And now that I would be protecting her for the weekend while dealing with the rest of the gang in order to make sure that nothing similar would happen again.
Which was pretty different from the truth with his daughter strapped to a table with a gas mask making sure that she would keep sleeping while I was making some… adjustments to her.
"How is Hasaki?" I changed the subject. My need to know of situation was greater than Garaki's need of entertainment after all.
"She seems to have understood the situation well. She is looking into the more… capable people in the underworld along with Giran. We should be able to get some actual recruits for both our organization and the little project you have with the money of Intelli's." Garaki answered and stopped as we had finally reached to little Saiko. I questioned the doctor a bit more while I played with the unconscious girl's hair.
"What about the quirks I wanted you to get?"
"Well, I already know where to get that rather impressive one but it might take a few more days to locate it. But the shapeshifting quirk that you wanted was found, it will be delivered to us later on today." Garaki jovially said, as if he was talking about pretty flowers rather than someone he had had kidnapped.
"As a matter of fact, it is actually even better than the one you had originally asked for!" The doctor seemed giddy and I had to admit that his mood was kinda contagious.
"Hoo, and how is it better?" I asked with a smile. If Garaki, who had been working with quirks almost ever since their creation said that it was better, then it was better.
"It doesn't change only your appearance, but it can also change the appearance of others. So of course it was wasted on some bum who always cried about the unfairness of the world." Garaki's joyful voice took a more hateful tone towards the end, the man hating those who squandered their own potential.
"I see." The quirk was definitely better than one that I had asked for but honestly, I wasn't sure why I would change someone else's appearance but there probably would be a reason later on.
Anyway, it was time to commit a rather serious crime.
…was brainwashing someone actually a crime?
Doesn't matter.
Now I had been rather hesitant to use this quirk in order to do major changes to a person since it tended to have a side effect of destroying mind if the change was too major. That wouldn't do since I simply wanted her to be obedient and loyal to me, not a broken fetish doll.
But I believed that I found a solution to that.
Cizko's quirk, Mind Program, did not force somebody to think the way the user want. Instead it created small programs that would change things in the target's mind. The reason major changes destroyed the mind was because the sheer amount of effort the program needed would fry the brain of the target.
But what if instead of one big program I used several smaller ones. Several small changes used again and again until they became a major change. That was my solution to change little Saiko-chan without frying her brain.
So, one program to slightly lower her hate of me.
And then the same program used again and again until her hate became a simple irritation.
Then a program to create some new memories. Memories where she was attacked by some hoodlums screaming about her parents before getting rescued by me. A rescue where she admires me.
Then several programs to raise her admiration to the point of extreme.
A program to copy the loyalty she felt towards her parents and connect it to me.
Several programs to lower her morals about other people.
Lastly several programs to make her a bit more submissive.
As far as I was concerned, she was ready to be a new person. So I told Garaki to release her bindings and pulled the gas mask off of her face.
In a few minutes she began to stir and then she opened her eyes.
"Whe-Where?" She asked before starting to cough. So as a very nice gentleman, I had Kurogiri get her some water.
"Saiko-san, what do you remember?" I asked with my voice full of kindness.
"I… I was walking home from school and then… oh my god…" she trailed off, pale and trembling as the false memories I had planted inside her mind did their work.
"You were attacked. We… dealt with them." I said and then the small genius looked at me in awe and admiration.
"I… thank you." She finally whispered out, looking very stressed out. I might have gone overboard with the memory I guess but this simply meant that she would be easier to manipulate so I guess that was a win.
"Saiko-san, I am sorry but I must ask you to stay here for a while." I said with fake kindness and the schoolgirl's head shot up with wide eyes.
"We already have located the gang that attacked you, I will deal with them but I need you to stay here for a while, where it's safe." I said as I put a hand on her knee, trying to appear as reasonable and nice as I could.
"I-I understand. Thank you… Shigaraki-san." Saiko stuttered out with a blush on her cheeks.
"Please, call me Sho." I smiled as I mentally did a victory dance. From hating my guts to a literal schoolgirl with a crush, this quirk was awesome.
After ordering Kurogiri to help her with anything she might need, I left the room and put on a jacket, ready to go out.
"Gonna deal with some 'gangs' sir?" Garaki's voice was amused, the old doctor probably got some kicks out of the way I had manipulated Saiko.
"Well yes, and I believe I might even get a drink after that." I said with a smirk as I had the small Nomu with the warping quirk, Johnny, take me to the city. Not even the puking sensation of the quirk being able to ruin my day.
