Ivan

Nothing in my life excited me more than my wolf waking up and screaming at me that we'd found our mate. I was six, and I didn't understand what a mate was. I only knew that whoever she was, they were the most essential thing in the universe. Nothing mattered more. Not my bike, PlayStation, or collection of transformers in my room. 

I'd give up my comic books if it meant I could find her.

"Ivan!" My mother cried when I took off. I knew I'd get into trouble, but I didn't care. My wolf was telling me that if I let my mate leave, it would be the worst pain I'd ever endured. I didn't want that. "Ivan, come back here right now!"
