The sages were silent while Sif frowned because such seemed that he could not give his master any more time.

"I defended my people!" - Sif exclaimed as a dark aura began to surround her body.
The sages quickly leapt at Sif to stop him, only to fly away thanks to an explosion of dark magic.

"You damned... traitor..." - Ulfric said with difficulty - "Y-you don't deserve to be part of Verbergen..."
"I don't care to be part of this shitty kingdom!" - Sif roared as he used a little more strength - "I don't care about a 'home' that did nothing to help me when I was captured by demons!"
Ulfric slowly looked down and noticed the mark on the lion clan sage's shoulder - "Y-You..."
"Oh, you saw it" - Sif said disdainfully - "Yes, I am a slave of the demon clan..."
Sif let out a laugh before throwing the elven leader to the ground.
"Ugh..." - Ulfric let out a groan of pain before screaming as he felt the lion stomp on his stomach with all his might. The elf could feel as if his intestines were going to explode.
"Well, whatever, it's time for you to go see your friend" - Sif said as she prepared to kill Ulfric, only to fly away thanks to a powerful magical attack.
"Let go of my grandfather!" - exclaimed a pretty blonde-haired girl who was wearing a white one-piece dress.
"Altina..." - Ulfric muttered with difficulty as he tried to get up.
"Grandfather!" - Altina Heipyst exclaimed as she ran to the last remaining family and cast a spell to heal him - "Are you okay?"
"Yes, it still hurts a bit, but there's no time for this, we have to help the other sages before Sif recovers" - Ulfric said painfully.
"O-Ok" - nodded Altina as she ran to the other sages and let out a sigh of relief that they were all alive, albeit unconscious.
"Miss Mao!" - A group of harpies exclaimed.
"I want you to get the sages out of the room!" - Ulfric exclaimed as he looked at the new arrivals - "I also want my granddaughter taken to safety!"
The harpies looked at each other before nodding.
"What about you, Mr. Ulfric?" - The leader of the group asked.
"I have to stay because if I don't, you will be in danger," Ulfric replied as he watched Sif struggle to her feet.
"I'm not leaving, grandfather!" - Altina exclaimed as she felt a harpy grab her - "I am the princess of Verbergen, it is my duty to help and protect my subjects!"
"Please be careful" - said the leader of the group as she grabbed the sages and the young elf.
"I will" - muttered Ulfric as he smiled slightly.
"You could have gone with them" - said Sif as he thundered her neck.
"If I do, then you could capture my princess, and we both know she is far more important than me" - Ulfric replied as he began to channel his mana.
"You are right, the princess of the elves is a prey that everyone would like to capture, especially the demons" - said Sif with disdain - "Well, you don't have to worry, your bloodline will not die with you, because I am sure that your granddaughter will have many offspring when the demons capture her".
"I'm sorry, but that won't happen, now it's time for us to start with the second round, and don't worry, I will fight now" - Ulfric said neutrally.

"You're right, thank you for your kind words" - replied Altina as she looked one last time in her grandfather's direction before concentrating on the problem they were in - "I just hope everything will turn out well, I don't want our home to suffer so much because of the greed of the demons...
