"Well, I have my ways" - Cloud replied as he continued devouring the meat he had saved, though his expression changed slightly when he saw how the girl was looking at him seriously - "What's wrong?"
"I can eat normal things, but I prefer another kind of food" - Yue said as her red eyes flashed fiercely.
Cloud stepped back unconsciously because he could sense that there was something wrong with Yue right now.
"I just want a little bite ~" - Yue murmured in a sultry voice.
Cloud's eyebrow twitched slightly, only for after a few seconds, the sound of a scream to echo through the place.

"Ugh, sorry" - Yue muttered with a red face - "It's just that I haven't tasted blood in a good while, and your blood tastes delicious and inviting, it's like it was created to attract my race."
"I could have given you some, but your expression looked like that of an old pervert about to commit a sex crime" - Cloud replied as he rolled his eyes at her.
"Ok, I admit that I was also a little excited" - replied Yue with red cheeks - "I had never directly consumed a man's blood, and as a fact, that's a marriage proposal in my race."

"Well, it's not like I can't accept it, but there's a problem, I'm already married, or in a multiple relationship" - Cloud replied as he shook his head.
"Multiple relationship?" - Yue repeated while cocking her head to one side - "You mean harem?"
"That's right" - nodded Cloud calmly.
"I see, I have no problem" - replied Yue as she shrugged - "Though I ask that as a princess, you give me the relevant attention."
Cloud was silent for a few seconds before nodding calmly, though inside he was thinking that there was something strange about Yue's answer.
"Share? Yeah, right, like I can do that" - Yue thought with a frown - "I have enough time to make him understand that he doesn't need anyone else, let's see if when I'm done with him, he'll still be thinking about other girls."
Cloud gave her a glance, and noticed how the beautiful blonde-haired girl was smiling at him.

"Hya!" - Shizuku exclaimed as she looked around neutrally, after having cut off the head of the [Goblin] that was attacking their group.
She, along with the rest of the hero team, had made it to the 10th floor of [Orcus], and their levels had climbed wonderfully.
Kaori was also leveling up at a great speed, though it was much slower than her teammates because she wasn't taking out monsters directly.
"Good job!" - Kouki smiled as he looked around with a smile - "If we keep going like this, we'll soon make it to the top floor!"
The heroes started shouting excitedly as they saw how their journey was over for now.
"Hmm, I wonder what floor Cloud is on" - Rika said in a low voice, but even though it was no more than a whisper, some heroes managed to hear her.
"Cloud, you mean the weakest of our group?" - asked one of the heroes who was jealous of the blond - "Yeah, right."
The others started looking at each other and muttering nonsense.
Kaori frowned when she heard this while Shizuku decided to ignore the others' words.
"Admit it, he's dead" - Daisuke snorted with disdain, but his expression changed when he saw an arrow fly by the side of his cheek - ". . ."
"One more word, and the arrow goes straight to your forehead, is that clear?" - Rika asked neutrally because she was already starting to lose her patience.
It had been two weeks since the blond had disappeared, and even though she knew he was fine, her concern was growing.
Her teenage mentality, had caused her to not pay attention to the most important details in this world, which was to accomplish the mission, and, on the contrary, she had taken the opportunity to be able to live the life she hadn't been able to before.
She had begun to feel like shit for this, because she had discovered what a shitty recruit she had been for letting her satisfaction be more crucial than the mission, something her adult form would not have done.
After seeing this truth, she began to change and get away from her friends most of the time to regain the habits she had lost through her inactivity, going back to being the same warrior she had left behind, after all, she had enjoyed herself more than enough.
"Next time I don't plan on failing" - Rika said neutrally as she released a powerful killer instinct.
Daisuke remained silent, but the stain on his pants showed that he was completely terrified.
"Rika-san, I think that was enough" - Kouki muttered as he tried to calm the girl down, but the cold look she had on her face made him unconsciously recoil.
This had nothing to do with the difference in Stats, but to something much more important, the difference in differences between the two of them.
Meld looked at Rika with surprise because this attitude she was showing, could only be seen in someone who has been fighting and killing for years without much thought, something that was strange in a girl who was only 16 years old. This made him think that maybe she was a child soldier, or a junior agent.
"Relax, Rika-san" - Shizuku said as she put her hand on the girl's shoulder - "It'll be all right."
Rika grunted in annoyance before lowering her bow, though the growing hostility she was building up inside could still be noticed.
"I guess we'd better go back home and take a little break, it's not a good idea to be pushing ourselves too hard because that will only make us end up dead" - Meld ordered as the heroes sighed in relief.
Rika nodded weakly as she prepared to head back, but not before looking towards the staircase leading to the next floor and cursing herself for having been so carefree.
If she had trained like Cloud had, or if she had taken the weapon he had offered to make, she might have stopped Daisuke dead in his tracks, but none of that mattered now that it had all transpired.
"I hope you're okay, Cloud" - Rika murmured because she didn't know the blond's current state, she only knew that he was alive.
"Cloud" - Kaori muttered regretfully as she turned around and walked back home, after all, she was exhausted, not only physically, but also mentally.

"A forest" - Cloud muttered with a frown because he wasn't expecting this drastic change in the cave's atmosphere - "I sense danger in the area."
"You're right, there's something not right" - mused Yue as she looked around, taking the opportunity to hug Cloud's arm.
The blond boy didn't say anything, he just looked around apprehensively because he could feel how danger was near, in fact, it seemed as if danger was everywhere.
The duo, slowly walked through the forest, until they watched as a group of very dinosaur-like creatures, appeared in their range of vision.
"Dinosaurs?" - Cloud asked with a frown - "Wait, why does everyone have a flower in their anatomy?"
"I have no idea, but their mana flow feels strange" - Yue replied with a frown as she noticed how all the dinosaurs focused their gaze on them.
"Wait, this is weird, it's like they're all in sync" - Cloud muttered as he heard the joint roar of those things.
The dinosaurs quickly jumped at them with blood red eyes.
Cloud frowned when he saw this as he started shooting left and right.
It took 10 minutes for all the dinosaurs to fall to the ground, rendered inert by the bullets in the center of their heads.
Cloud slowly walked over to one of them to check it more carefully, when he heard the sound of a small chuckle.
