"So what do you got here?!" CC asked loudly as she got into the lab.
"Hmmm... Wait, let me do a quick check on you just to make sure." AA said without answering before he took out a mini scanner and did the check unceremoniously.
It only took a few seconds to finish.
"So?" CC asked again as she looked at the still-working fabricator which seems about to be done with what it is tasked with creating.
"Oh! Wait... This is almost done, what's inside is connected to the good news." AA said as he got busy again checking the parameters of the thing that was being created just to make sure.
AA had been doing experiments and research for quite some time now so he got used to double-checking and even triple-checking whenever he does something.
"O-kay~..." CC answered with raised eyebrows as she sat on an empty table and started getting a bit comfortable.
Then finally, the thing was finished.
"What do you think?" AA asked CC as if expecting her to know what the thing is, and he truly is.
CC's eyebrows twitched with some annoyance.
"You ask me, so who do I ask?!" She asked back spitefully. "Anyways, it looks like a cylindrical water tank or aquarium."
"Is it?" AA asked with a dumb look on his face because he realized that it did look like one!
"It is, so, is it? Am I right?" CC asked while rolling her eyes.
"Yeah, NO." AA answered while his mouth was twitching because he felt like the design that he chose seemed ugly all of a sudden. "Sigh... Haven't you heard anything about gene-adjusting technology?"
"Oh? But it truly looks like one, now I suddenly feel like having fish as a pet. Also... Hmmm... The gene-adjusting thingy... Sounds familiar..." CC said in a lazy tone as she put her hands akimbo before putting a hand on her chin, taking a thinking pose.
"Are you sure you want a fish pet? I could just make a haro if you want a pet-like thing, or make a floating robotic fish if you truly want a fish.
As for real fish...
Forget about it, you are too lazy to take care of any kind of real pet, it's better to just make a robotic one that could also act as your servant and assistant." AA said as he considered seriously what his woman wants and suggested what he think is more compatible with the said woman.
"Eh? A robotic floating fish seems like a good thing. Can also act as my slave. It's good! That's it! Make one for me!" CC said with a little excitement. "Wait, what about cheese-kun?! Forget about fish! Just make ma cheese-kun instead!"
"Erhmmm... Can't. Cheese-kun is copyrighted and is too easily recognizable." AA was only able to say until here before he had to change what he wanted to say next because He saw that CC had a crazy expression on her face. "But I can just buy the whole franchise anyways. Hahaha...

I will just say it now, I will not make cheese-kun look like a real pizza, okay?!
You might just accidentally eat it if I did that.
Cheese-kun will instead look exactly like the mascot although much smaller, like palm size small.
Now, back to the topic."
"Hmmm? What topic?" CC asked with a puzzled look as the crazy look disappeared like it never happened.
"Gene-adjusting?" AA said with a sigh as he scratch the back of his head feeling a slight annoyance.
Now he knows what everyone feels like whenever he changes the subject unceremoniously and rudely.
"Oh! I remember now. Okay, start explaining then." CC said lazily, she did not even bother trying to remember anything about gene adjusting and just directly ask AA to explain.
"Sigh... Fine, I will do it myself." AA said with a determined look on his face, then he looked at CC expecting some reaction but then he sighed again in disappointment and defeat as he remembered that no one would know the meme in the current world.
"What are sighing about babe?" CC asked as she saw AA like this again.
There are many times where AA seems to be doing something that no one understands but he had this face full of expectations for a reaction from anyone.
The three ladies and now, even CC had noticed this quite a lot but whenever they asks him about it, he isn't saying anything.
"Nothing." AA said, back to his normal look. "Alright, let me give you a summary of what is gene adjusting then."
It only took a minute or two as CC already had some knowledge about it in her head, she just forgot.
"So it's like that! What's the good news then?" CC finally asked the most important question which is still not being answered until now.
"Well... Let me ask something first...
So..." AA is trying to make it more suspenseful but...
But it is just infuriating CC.
"Get on with it already!" She shouted angrily.
"When you got your code, you should be in the early days of your ovulation period, right?" AA asked, obviously trying to avoid the main topic for now.
"Yeah, what about it? I can't get pregnant even with that." CC said with a slightly depressed tone. "As a code holder, you should already know about it. Wait! You are a guy and you certainly already have kids with those three!
Bastard! Are you just trying to slap me with the fact that I can't give you a child?!"
CC got a bit hysterical by the end as this topic is truly something that hurts even with the slightest touch.
Especially since she had some feelings for AA now and she knows that the three other women had already given AA some kids, so she is feeling envious.
"Hey, hey, hey! Stop! Calm down! That is not what I am trying to say!" AA hurriedly said as he hugged CC and caressed her back to make her feel better, fast.
Which, she did quickly enough as she hugged AA back.
"Explain quickly or I'll bite your ear off." CC threatened spitefully.
"Okay..." AA said before taking in a deep breath.
