Late at Night
Around 1 a.m.
Everything was silent, the surroundings still dark, as people had long since entered their dreams. There were hardly any pedestrians on the streets, only a few cars scattered, sprinting along.
The red light of the Bin City Central Hospital operating room was still on.
The man leaning against the outside wall of the operating room was wearing a set of navy blue home clothes. His sleeves were half-rolled up, but this did not diminish his tall stature; he still stood straight and slender. He was even wearing a pair of men's slippers, having been in too much of a rush to change.
At this moment, his brows were tightly furrowed, and he appeared quite grave, staring unblinkingly at the door of the operating room.
Usually, he was the one inside performing surgery while family members waited outside. Today, as the family member waiting out here, he could better appreciate that agony.
Time passed by, second by second.
