"Of course. I missed you every day." Gu Shaoting stuttered after hearing such a blunt question from Shu Pan.

He then ran into the bathroom to take a shower.

Shu Pan couldn't help but burst out laughing when she saw him scurry away.

Gu Shaoting stood under the shower and let the hot water splash down on him.

He felt his entire body relaxed. No matter how good life got outside, it was nothing compared to his life at home, especially when he had a wife and daughter at home.

Gu Shaoting smiled at the thought of enjoying the meal that Shu Pan had painstakingly made for him with love later.

He showered as quickly as he could and came out dressed in home wear.

Shu Pan worked quickly too and got three dishes and a soup ready when he came out. They were all Gu Shaoting's favorite dishes.
