Julian sighed. Dealing with children was difficult. It was shocking he ever agreed to have one, let alone three. Maybe it was because Roz was the first; she seemed easier to deal with than her brother.
"I wish I knew what to tell you but I don't know much about time travel theory. At this point in time, it's thought of as nothing but science fiction," he said.
Ed rolled his eyes. "I knew you wouldn't be any help. Stop talking to me."
"You're the one that started the conversation!"
"Yeah and I regret it already."
This child was giving him a headache. It was hard to believe they were related at all but Julian couldn't deny he looked a lot like him. He was every bit as blunt too. Like it or not, Ed was definitely his son.
"…I'll get your sister off of you so you can go to bed," he said lamely.
"Don't wake her up! She needs her sleep."
