''Shit! Shit! Shit! What're are we going to do now? You've seen our powers, and our faces! We're going to have to kill you? Yes-kill you? Seems about right!'' As Aaron spoke, he was clearly panicked. Frantic in fact. Pacing back and forth, blocking the exit out of the alleyway, so the boy couldn't escape. Edward, who'd finally being able to recollect his thoughts, was back on the case.
As he approached the terrified boy, leaned up against the wall, still next to that disgusting run down toilet seat, he grabbed the boy by the shoulders, and guided him along the wall, and away from the toilet and the seat. As the look of fear in the boys eyes increased, once he stared into Edward's eyes, the boy's quivering and twitching only grew worse. The boy clearly wanted to try and plead for his life, but was stopped, by his own terrified fear. Being unable to get the words he wanted out.
''How much did you see? How much of what we did, did you see?!'' Edward shouted. The boy shut his eyes quickly, as scared mumbles fled through his lips.
''Why even bothering asking him, you bastard! Its clear he saw everything! Which means he has enough evidence to identify us!'' Aaron barked as he took a small pause before returning to pacing. ''Good work firebreath, I choose to never listen to another thing you have to say again! Nope! Not! I will never! Never! Nope! Not! Absolutely not! Forget it!'' Aaron was cleary frantic with his words, he hadn't even noticed that no one was listening to him.
''How much did you see! I won't repeat myself again!'' The boy squirmed and struggled against the odd position he'd been put in by Edward, and softly mumbled something under his breath. The boy wasn't sure whether either of them had heard him, or what was going on, but as his frantic, yet, terrified brown eyes, closed, then returned to the light, Edward had gotten the all clear to release him. Something about him, seemed oddly familiar. As such, Edward knew there wasn't such a time to pay any attention.
Turning to a frantic but angry version of Aaron, his fake green eyes softened, as he tried to yank the hood of the sweater he wore, but Aaron was quick, and dodged his reached out arm. Getting away from him just in time. Edward on the other hand, didn't find his games amusing.
''I can walk on my own, just tell me where we're going.''
''You wouldn't follow me if I told you...'' Edward growled. ''Don't be a idiot.''
''Me? An idiot? Never? Absolutely not! I just have fun with my life, I'm not a uptight bastard like you.'' He growled.
''Your starting to push my nerves! When we return home...I'm giving you to my sister as an early present, surely she'll work you till you can't lift a single finger.''
''All have you know, that's slavery? Plus you'd have to catch me first! And given the chance, most likely you'd forget and let me go free.''
''Not likely Aaron. I'm going to remember this little adventure forever.'' Edward groaned under his breath.
''Of course you will! I'm here. I won't let you ever forget.'' Aaron laughed, as he walked in front of Edward. As he walked past, he couldn't help himself but to make a small little dance as he walked. Edward made a small smile at the sight of him, as he mumbled something under his breath. But before either two could completely leave the alleyway, they were in, the mysterious, blonde haired boy, caught Edward's attention. He wasn't why at first, But knew he had something, once he found an answer to his recent question. The boy? Was so familiar to him, now he understood why.
Aaron who had stopped dancing now, turned around. The sight of Edward was one that made him want to puke. but as tired as he was, and as eager as he was to find a place to sleep for the night, he wasn't going to abandon the one person, who knew more about the world he was in, then he did. He needed Edward. Though he wasn't going to admit it.
''Remind me to stock up on more food when we return home, its clear, I'm hungry.'' He complained. Raising his brow at the sight of the odd positioning of Edward and the boy, he was quick to judge. Almost breaking his cool, to break off from a laugh, as he waited. Something good had to come out of it.
''Who are you really?'' Edward asked. Staring into the boys soul deeply, as he waited for an answer. The boy was changed now. He didn't appear scared, or nervous. That's exactly what it was, he didn't appear scared or nervous. The boy had been messing with them the entire time. Edward, had figured it out. It only took the boy a few seconds to take everything off that made him fake, and stare at them with his new appearance.
His hair had remained blonde, but his eyes weren't brown anymore. They were light green, with clouds all around them. The clouds were able to tell Aaron the truth. The boy was blind. Probably had been for sometime. His build was super thin now, it was as if all the fat had been ripped from his body. The clothing he wore was so baggy on him, it looked more like a disappointed dress, made for someone who'd ordered the wrong measurements. Aaron couldn't help himself but to comment on the outfit, for he and the boy were some what matching. Aaron too felt like a misplaced girl, with the long lengths of the white sweater he'd been forced to wear. As for the color alteratening color contacts, at least he'd gotten used to them.
''Took you a while to come back here. I honestly didn't think you would.'' The boy whispered, bowing his head at the ground. Seeming to not be able to make out a single detail of Edward or Aaron. Even if he wished he could. The ground was the only place he could look out. Seeming to almost be able to make out some of the dark spots of the dark puddles, of the rain, from the previous night. The boy had the palest skin color any of them had ever seen. It was brought to Edward's attention, how uncared for, he was. Terribly thin, and probably suffering from lack of eyesight. Edward lightly held one hand out to the boy, trying as best he could, to get the boy's eyes to draw onto him. But they wouldn't. Edward could see the boy didn't want to look at them, even with sight. He was getting the cold shoulder.
''You didn't answer the previous question. Who are you?'' Edward repeated.
''I'm a friend. That's all you need to know.''
''What the hell? Are we supposed to know you? Cause I think I'd remember a blind, psycho such as yourself?'' Aaron mumbled, hissing but only lightly.
''Bastard.'' The boy whispered. Aaron growled, as anger showed on his face. It was clear only he could call people that. So having it used against him, had only angered him more.
''I don't need to stay here and listen to you! Your just a psycho blind person! We could leave, and probably find a place to sleep within an hour, but you'd likely be still here! Stuck wondering what happened to us.''
''Aaron! Hush! Enough with your rude comments!'' Edward barked.
''Your both from Nation Valley? Aren't you? I can feel your powerful energy...it feels so good. You with your flames, and your rude friend, with his ice. Although? It doesn't seem as if everything's all right. There's something wrong with you. Isn't there?'' The boy looked past Edward's form, as his view went straight past him. Ending with him staring just inches past Aaron's face. Aaron's angered filled eyes bowed to the ground quickly, as a frown fell onto his face. Getting rid of what made him cocky, as he was left puzzled.
Even the weird blind boy could sense something wasn't right with him. So it wasn't just his imagination.
''Aaron? What's he talking about?'' Edward questioned. His face filled with worry, as his light eyes softened. He took a few steps away from the boy, and over to him. Before he could reach him, Aaron threw his hand out, and stopped him. Fury coming off his body, as he was quick to remove the color contacts, removing the things that gave him protection, as he was quick to meet Edward half way. The two staring into each others eyes, although, no such moment was being created. Aaron didn't like Edward like that, it was clear. Nor did Edward feel the same. Gay, didn't have to mean, you fall in love with any guy you see. Aaron felt disgusted, his mind had gone to that place. Edward, was the prince. Not his shining armour. He wasn't going to be saved. Especially not by him.
''I don't need you to care for me. I asked you to help me find Alec, not to take care of me. Now stop worrying, and focus on the more important things! Alec needs me, if you don't want to help anymore, go back home.'' He groaned. Edward seemed almost stunned now. He was frozen, with his eyes locked on Aaron. He saw everything before it happened, as it was clear Aaron's words had hurt him. Shallowing any embarrassment he had, he returned. Sighing, then taking a well deserved breath before turning his back on the cold one. Returning to the boy, who still couldn't see them.
''You said you were a friend? A friend of whos? Mine? His?''
''That doesn't matter. None of this matters. All you need to know, is if you want to remain safe while your here, I'd learn to keep my voices down. Plus, it might be best you don't use your powers so much. Your emotions are tied to your abilities, get angry, and you'll likely burn half of France down, fireboy.'' The boy cursed. ''If you want to find your missing friend, follow the gray brick sidewalk, and make a left. You'll find a building with colorful lights, and dark windows. Ask for a man named Mark Night-Lock. He handles all the banished people from Nation Valley. Just so happens he owes me a favor, he'll help you....but only if you ask nicely! As for your magic, like I said, keep it to a limit. If your caught using your powers, out in the open, the government will never stop hunting you down. Prove is all they need, to go full psycho on this place, and there's to many innocent people here. Watch your backs! Or the government won't be the only people after you.'' The boy froze then took a pause, then stopped talking all together. Aaron who looked rather interested, softened his eyes, as he turned around. Ready to be the one to lead for once, as he guided Edward along with him.
Once they were out of the alley, the warmth of the sun shined down on the both of them. As Aaron adjusted his sweater, a little before he took off, he sighed, as he let out a small, tried, and stressed chuckle. Edward could see he was exhausted. As he thought of a warm comfortable bed the entire time they walked out of sight of other people, Edward was quick to catch up to Aaron. Ready to indore more of the messed up adventure.
Although he couldn't keep himself from being a tiny bit worried. Earth was different. Things weren't the same. Not anymore. Since he'd been to Earth last, things had become unrecognizable to him. Which only worried him more. Plus Aaron's health, weighed on him, just as much. He feared the worst for the both of them.
