บท 241: The Truth - Part 3

The bright red blood pupil flickered and got bigger and bigger. The pupils approached Heero but stopped ten meters away.

"Who are you? How did you enter my Domain?" A deep, dignified voice echoed through the void.

"Oh, come on! I even knew who you were, and here I am still standing. I am not afraid of you, Niadin. Stop playing such a cheap trick!" Heero waved his hand as a broad smile spread across his face.

The creature in the void tried to intimidate Heero with his voice. But Heero saw through it.

Sigh!

The creature in the void let out a sigh, an exhausted sigh.

"Who are you? What do you want from me?" Seeing his trick, the dignified voice was replaced by the voice of an old man.

This voice was the true voice of the creature.

"Me? I am Xing Heero and there are many..." Heero paused for a moment, "Actually, I don't want anything from you, let's talk,"

After he said that, he sat cross-legged on the floor and asked curiously, "Don't you feel lonely, isolated here?"

He chatted as if they were an old friend, with a dragon at that.

"Xing Heero... Xing Heero... Strangely familiar..." A murmur came from the void.

"Never heard your name..."

"It's natural that you don't know my name. I haven't made a name for myself..." Heero paused and thought, "All my past successes have been stolen.

"Oh, but we met once. When I was a child, you must have forgotten such a small existence, "

There was no answer from the void. Perhaps Niadin tried to recall his past memories but to no avail. He had met so many children, that there was no way he could remember Heero.

"So where... no, how did you get into my private space?" Niadin said and finished his question.

"There's a gate there. I entered this room through that gate!" Heero pointed in the direction of the dungeon gate.

The bright red blood pupils followed Heero's finger. It was as if the pupils could see through anything, and the pupils trembled when they realized that there was indeed a hole.

"No wonder my food has decreased massively, you are the culprit!" Niadin raised his voice.

The dragon was angry about his food being stolen, but Heero remained unperturbed.

"Oh, come on. You hide in the void, how am I supposed to know this place is yours?" He shrugged lightly and continued, "So why did you isolate yourself in this tiny space?"

There was a long pause before Niadin replied, "I want to spend the rest of my life in solitary confinement. I am tired of the constant war," he said.

"But why did you choose this tiny space? There are many better places than this! Nebraska Paradise for example," Heero mentioned a random place where godlike beings like Niadin spent their old age.

"Hah... It's not that I don't want to go there, but I can't..." Niadin did not finish his sentence.

"Wait! How do you know about that place, Nebraska Paradise? Not everyone knows this place! Who the hell are you?"

"I told you, I am Xing Heero! Oh yes, Saint is my master," Heero confessed truthfully.

The large pupils blinked a few times, scanning Heero's body from head to toe. Niadin seemed doubtful about what he said.

"Nebraska Paradise! Already met me once! That man's disciple! Xing Heero!"

"Ah, I remember. So you are his missing student! One day he came to me and told me that his only disciple was missing! He asked me to help him find you!"

"Ah, so you are his precious student. I see... I see... In fact, we have met before..."

"Where have you been all this time? Your master turned Dramonia upside down just to look for you! He even almost started the Second God War! If not for that great catastrophe, that bast*rd Horas would have died under your master's hand!"

Once he discovered Heero's identity, Niadin became more proactive. He began to reminisce about the past in his passionate old voice.

"So, did you meet him? He looked so depressed back then. He must have missed you a lot."

"No, I haven't met him yet. Besides, what's with the big catastrophe? What happened to Dramonia?" Heero asked what he wanted to know the most.

"Didn't you know, the great catastrophe? Even a god is forced to flee in the face of a great catastrophe. Why didn't you know about it? All Dramonians should know about it, the greatest catastrophe in the history of Dramonia. I called this disaster the Meteor Rain!"

Niadin was stunned by Heero's ignorance of the greatest disaster.

"I really don't know! I was sealed in Eternal Ice for... I don't even know how long it was! I was sealed, so I know nothing, clueless! The moment I broke out of the Eternal Ice, the world had changed! I thought I was thrown away in the farthest corner of Dramonia!"

Heero poured out the sorrow he had been holding in all this time. He felt sorry for his master, for disappearing when his master needed him most.

"Calm yourself, boy! Even though the catastrophe destroyed Dramonia, it won't be enough to kill your master!"

"Well, you survived the Eternal Ice. That's proof that you really are his only disciple. Okay then, I will tell you what happened..."

Niadin told everything that happened during his absence.

The biggest disaster in Niadin's mouth was literally a meteor shower. Meteors rained down on the land, and the number of meteors was countless.

If it was just one or two meteors, it was easy to solve. But countless meteors, even if one person did not die from a meteor he would be exhausted to death if he faced the countless meteors.

Knowing this problem, the gods decided to flee from the greatest disaster. Using space technique, space concealment.

They sealed a place in an isolated space so that they could avoid the disaster. Just like what Niadin did. He took an island into an isolated space and stayed there.

"Your master sealed a few cities in an isolated space before he sealed himself along with Mount Nebraska! That was what I heard before I hid in this tiny space,"

Heero was dazed and relieved at the same time. Dazed as to how such a disaster could happen. He was relieved, which meant that his master and the seven mothers were safe and there was still hope to meet them. All he had to do was find the right entrance.

"Hah, so the Eternal Ice actually saved my life from the great catastrophe!" Heero was amused.

Yes, without the Eternal Ice, he might die from the meteor shower. Maybe the meteor shower even helped him to free himself from the Eternal Ice.

The truth was revealed to him, and he found out that the dungeon was really part of Dramonia. No, he believed that the Earth was also part of Dramonia, not just the Dungeon.

"Wait, did you say you came from outside, outside is not an isolated space like this, right?" After chatting for a while, Niadin realized this.

"No, outside is Earth. It's no longer Dramonia, it's Earth. I think this Earth is what is left of Dramonia. A lot has changed and the air outside is polluted,"

This time, it was Heero who told them what had happened outside. For the next three hours, the two of them had a good chat. Like an old friend just reunited.

Looking at his smartwatch, Heero stood up, "It's time to go," he said.

Looking at the large pupils with a serious look, Heero asked, "Old man Niadin, why don't you follow me outside?"

He invited the most dangerous creature to leave his nest.
