บท 12: You Don’t Have to Pay It for Me Anymore

When I got home at night, I realized that Lin Xiaoya had not gone to work yet.

I knocked on her door. When she opened it, she frowned and said, "I've been waiting for you for a long time. Why did you come back so late?"

I said in astonishment, "Sister Xiaoya, did you have something to do while you were waiting for me? Why didn't you call me?"

Lin Xiaoya turned around and walked in. "I wanted to tell you this in person."

I followed her into her room. I closed the door behind me and asked carefully, "What's wrong?"

Lin Xiaoya turned around and looked at me. She said seriously, "You're in big trouble this time!"

I was shocked. "What trouble? I didn't do anything!"

Lin Xiaoya glared at me. "You didn't do anything? Sister Hong was so angry with you. She even warned me not to bring you to her place again and scolded me harshly!"
