YVO was conflicted.

He was glad that Quin Davies was taking his job seriously, but he didn't like how his maternal cousin was so fixated on the Dritch Woods now.

Hence, as soon as the returned to the duchy, Quin dragged him to the area where the resort was being built. After all, the Dritch Woods were there. Worse, his cousin refused to let go of him. And so, he was stuck there and couldn't check on his noonim.

Since he didn't want anyone else to know about the secret of the sap yet, he dragged his maternal cousin inside the tent and told Killian to not let anyone in unless it was an emergency. Of course, he also told his knight to call him if Gypsy came looking for him.
