With perfect aerodynamics, his car began to pick up speed.

"A famous car maker once said aerodynamics are for people who can't build good engines. What a cocky bastard." Elliot smiled as he looked at his speedometer in satisfaction. "I gained a full hundred kilometers an hour from it! That's more than I got by using the red dragon breath as a booster rocket! Brain truly trumps brawn."

At seven hundred seventy five kilometers per hour, Elliot was going almost as fast as many jetliners used to back in the early 2000s.

The fact that his race car had remained fully intact and his tires weren't exploding yet simply meant that the aliens had done an excellent job in creating the race car, probably with quite a few of their alien tech and materials.
