บท 4: Advance Language or Memetic Effect?

The Following days before the Stark Expo John had nothing to do. So he decided on which path to focus on first. Being to spread out would slow his progress and he didn't want to focus too much on the energy department, or even advanced electronics.

'Hmm I was a programmer in my last life, might as well focus on that again.' John thought.

Looking through his skill tree he saw above [computer science] there was a connected spot where it intersected [Language]. [Language] Allowed him to learn every language used by humans to date so it wasn't surprised [Programming Languages] required it.

As John was about to put points into his skill tree he paused as something caught him off guard. Above [Languages] was three other options. The options themselves didn't confuse him but what they implied. If one wasn't paying attention they may not have even noticed.

One was [Lost Languages], which Included all human languages that died with time or where simply only used by a scant few and only for historian purposes. For example Ancient Greek compared to modern Greek.

Another was [Alien Languages] which considering he was in Marvel Universe should be pretty self explanatory on what it meant.

But what caught his eye was the third one because generally when one would think advanced language they would thing of higher species or alien species languages who didn't need words to communicate. But that bordered on super natural skills and Magic was much higher on the skill tree.

The 'description' he got for [Advanced Language] was also confusing, conceptual understanding of advanced language and how to create one. It didn't give him the language itself but how to make his own. Meaning he would have to invent his own language.

Seeing the black spot [Programming Language] he couldn't help but think about what people used to say all the time back in his old world. "Go big, or go home." Basically, if your going to do something, do it with everything you got.

Looking at the points needed to upgrade it to max, it was only one. Not surprising as it was only the theory and concept. He would have to make it himself. Immediately spending one of his daily points into it, John was flooded with information. After john was done going through the information he could help but be stunned.

"What the heck is this crap! This is clearly memetic effects! But it makes sense if I think about it." John said to himself.

The Information he got started by explaining the concept of language. Communication of Information through sound and visuals. The current species are only capable of speaking in a 2 dimensional language, while animals and non sentient species communicate in 1 dimensional languages. Advanced Languages are 3 dimensional languages.

In other words John was Physically incapable of speaking in a third dimensional language. However what really caught his attention was that some languages where higher up on the 2 dimensional plane than others. For example, All-Speak was a actually a Psudo-3rd dimensional language but wasn't quite advanced enough to be a third dimensional language.

The more syllables required to pass information, the lower on the plane it got. "Holy crap, English is a trash language." John thought.

The worst part was that Humans instinctively think in a language that has the least syllables. Which in turn, If the only language they know is English, then they think in a multi-syllable language, which slows down their thought process. Even among earths languages, there where many languages that where much better than English.

This caused John to realize he wasn't thinking in English anymore. And Probably hasn't for a while. His understanding of basically any language allowed him to transition between languages with ease. In fact he wasn't thinking in only one language but multiple. His mind automatically thought in the least complex combination of languages that required him to use the least syllables.

(AN:/ I only know English. So don't expect an example. This Chapter hurts my brain as is. Don't murder me here. :,( This chapter is going to be extremely confusing to some. )

Advanced Languages are unique to each individual. 3rd 4th and even 5th dimensional languages and beyond are all one syllable languages. And no matter how advanced they become they will stay as a single syllable.

However for a third dimensional language, you first need to be able to express a single expression in one syllable or character. For example saying "Thank you very much!" or "How are you doing?"

The language itself is constantly evolving and can't be considered a complete third dimensional language until it can be used as an effective tool for communication, whether you are physically capable of using it or not doesn't matter though.

As the language advances You will be able to express, tones in the language. For example if you are being sarcastic and say "Thank you very much!" or are extremally grateful or excited you can express basic tones depending on the circumstances. At this stage others who where to hear this will start to be influenced by the transmission of information. In fact even 2 dimensional languages are capable of transmitting different tones but its effect on people are minimal compared to someone who experiences it in a single syllable.

When someone is Extremely grateful and uses the advanced language to say "Thank you very much!" They will instantly feel that the other person is grateful even if they can't understand the noise they are making. Its nothing to dangerous but it is the start of memetic effect, also known as an information hazard.

Information Hazard, or Memetic effects can be dangerous to people who have weaker minds. especially the more advanced it becomes because of the transfer of information in a single instant.

At the next evolution of the language you won't be advancing expressions anymore but higher amounts of information transfer. Entire complex sentences. At this stage even if others don't understand the sound you are making, they will instinctively know what you mean. And what you want to convey. This is the stage all speak is at, and is officially considered a psudo-3rd dimensional language.

The only reason no one can go beyond this biologically is because the use of 3rd dimensional langue uses overlapping sounds. It becomes to much for vocal cords to handle. And requires other forms of communication. For example telepathy or mechanical augmentation.

The next stage is embedding emotions into the language. If you are happy you can express happiness and excitement through words similar to someone smiling and giving off positive vibes while saying "I'm so excited! I Can't Wait!" cheerfully. At this stage is where the language becomes hazardous to Individuals who don't have there own advanced Language or an exceptionally strong mind. People who have High IQs or more advanced minds than others can shrug it off and not feel much from it. While individuals that have lower IQ or weaker minds even if they are considered smart or above average can be influenced by the language.

If you where expressing hate and anger while expressing how you want to kill someone, the individual who hears it will be able to feel your hate and anger and may mistake it for their own, thinking they are feeling hate and anger and want to kill said person. People with stronger minds can differentiate between the hate the other person is feeling and their own on an almost instinctual level and their mind automatically filters the emotions that are being transmitted through the information prevention information overload from effecting them.

The next stage and probably most dangerous of the stages is converting the language into a visual language. QR codes are an extremally simple version of this. they are visual representations of an internet address. To the human mind it might mean nothing to them and they can't understand what they are seeing because the information in a QR code is only an internet address. It expresses no emotions, tones or even the need to be understood.

As you write the language you need to have a visual representative of each sound, each overlapping sound and even how to express them in different tones and emotions. The more you want to say and express In a single sentence, The more complex the visual representation is. The shaping of the visual representation doesn't matter. As long as it is capable of being seen in a single field of view and doesn't require the adjustment of visuals cutting off the whole picture or visual. Similar to having a picture on a computer screen and having to scroll to see the whole thing, you will need to zoom out to see it as an entirety.

At this stage it becomes even more dangerous because the visuals are left for others to see. If once again you are expressing how you want to kill someone and you express hate and anger with an angry tone, anyone who reads it and doesn't have a strong enough mind might mistake the feelings as their own. If this picture is say, broadcasted on the news, it could cause widespread hatred, anger, and the desire to kill a single person.

After you are capable of all the above, even if you can't biologically speak it, but write it and express it, you can effectively call it an official 3 dimensional language. Each syllable you express is an entire sentence.

But, you have to be careful how fast you speak and how many visuals anyone can see at one time. What you say what tone you say it in what emotions you say.

After all, you made the language and your brain had time to adjust to the information and language as you invented it. The emotions you want to express are your own, or even false emotions. As the inventor of the language you will also be able to easily understand what you are seeing and your mind will already have said information in your memory for each individual picture or sound. It will instinctively decipher the meaning and will have evolved to think in a way that takes the least amount of time to transfer information.

Anyone who makes an advanced language becomes immune to the memetic effects of same level of language as there mind would already have grown capable transmission of information at higher speeds. Higher dimensions of language can still have an effect on them though.

To advance it further you need to be able to express multiple sentences in a single syllable. which can be dangerous to others as the further you progress in your own language the faster your mind will process information. however if others are subjected to the information. It can cause headaches, aneurysm, unconsciousness, coma or in extreme cases, brain death. As minds that haven't grown accustomed to the speed of information processing are incapable keeping up.

The language is considered constantly evolving because you can continue to express more and more in a single syllable or visual, to the point you can tell someone your entire life story, transfer an entire books worth of knowledge or even eventually the collective knowledge of everything in but a single syllable word.

As John once more read over the understanding of [Advanced Language] he realized it was probably how his Goldfinger worked. Whoever reincarnated him must have an extremely high level in the language that the language itself effects reality. And it was through their language that he is transmitted knowledge. Luckily the knowledge is transferred in a safe way. Slow enough for his mind to handle, without emotion or tone to avoid effecting him ...hopefully. Because he might not even know he was being affected.

"But judging by the fact they are allowing me to create my own advanced language and potentially evolve it to a higher level even if I never reach their level it would eventually close the gap, so doubt anyone at that level of power and knowledge would even care how much I know and wouldn't need to brainwash me. In fact they wouldn't even feel threatened no mater how powerful, or smart I got because everything I can learn from this skill tree, they already know. Who's to say their isn't more or that they can't continue evolving their own language and knowledge." John thought to himself as he made his way to his computer with excitement.

He was going to start making his own language. Even if he can't speak it yet, doesn't mean he can't use a machine to record different sounds and overlap them, and start memorizing them. After all, he has an photographic memory, once he hears the sounds once, he can forever remember them.

He also has to start giving meaning to each sound. "I'll start with the English dictionary, converting every word to a single syllable word. Even if English is a crappy language, it's my Native language. And despite its flaws it has a lot of words. I'll also use the English pronunciation for each syllable. I'll have to hear what a multi syllable word sounds like at least once to put a sound to a word. then practice making the sound with my own voice. Should be able to do it with some training. Might have to put some points into [vocal arts] if its too hard. At least until the language evolves to the point where there are to many overlapping sounds." John mumble to himself.

He was excited at this prospect. He wanted to at least reach the entry level of third dimensional language. Then he can use the language to write his own computer language. The biggest flaws of any computer language is the speed it transfers information, The amount of information transmitted. The performance of hardware is limited by the language used. If he perfects a 3rd dimensional language, he would be able transfer things that are much larger in size with much less effort.

Of course he would be the only person who could read the language. Anyone even attempting to access his computer after he programs it might dye instantly from information overload. The hardest thing would be creating a way to type his language. But since he is using English as the base of his new language, he just needs to program it to automatically convert the words he writes to a pictographic character. At entry level its a single sentence character. But the amount of different characters would eventually reach the millions. maybe billions... or trillions....

"Oh God what have I gotten myself into..." john mutters in dread realizing that as the languages advance he will have pictographic and sounds for each thing he wants to convey. at different levels. The language doesn't ever dispose of old characters. It just makes more advanced characters for more information. After all, He still needs to communicate without killing everyone instantly because he felt like saying hello! But only knew how to say every word meaning and sentence simultaneously. In fact he was incapable of forgetting since he had photographic memory, with perfect recall.

Now he would have to convert all that to sound and visuals. the sound was easy enough but the visuals would require a whole knew process. Especially since he is in the early 2000s. "Crap, There might not be enough pixels even on 4k tv's and monitors to handle my language if it gets to advanced. But that's fine too, anything I type or write will be memorized. and anyone who looks will just see blotches of black on white and will be confused. and if the zoom in the character will not fit in the screen hence saving them from trouble. And I can always create a program that breaks it back down into English for the monitor. The main use will be downloading uploading and transfer of information. It will make it nearly impossible for my computer in the future to be hacked even by J.A.R.V.I.S. as he would have to decipher my entire language before he can do that. And since he is programmed using modern language it would be impossible to out power something using an advanced language that can counter thousands of different methods with a single character. After all, Hacking is just a debate between machines." John smiled mischievously thinking of an AI programmed by a third dimensional language thinking Jarvis is stupid and having to 'dumb down' his interactions with him.

Bringing out a microphone and dictionary, John cracked his knuckles "Time to get to work, no way this is going to be done anytime soon. Need to at least have my own All-Speak before Aliens start invading." And with that Johns started about doing something that might very well change the course of the universe without even realizing. After all, Knowledge is power, And Language is the weapon of knowledge.
