บท 174: Chapter 174: Not Focusing on Proper Business

Recently, Amelia Sanchez had been so affected by Elijah Willow that she had lost all desire to go out and enjoy herself. Besides going to work, she stayed at home, suppressing her feelings. She wanted to see Elijah Willow and try to patch things up, but also felt that Elijah Willow had been overly harsh on her. She didn't want to swallow her pride and apologize to him; it left her feeling bitter.

And so, she was caught in a vicious cycle.

Starting to get bored at home, she waited for Albert Brown to finish his phone call, staring at his back. When he was finally done, she asked him, "Albert, should I go see Elijah Willow?"

"Why would you want to see him? I know you're kind, but that guy is not worth your energy." Albert's eyes darkened as he spoke.

What did this man have that left his beloved Amelia thinking about him for so long?

It was really infuriating.

Amelia was amused by Albert's comments and gave him a slight smile. "Alright, then I won't go."
