บท 60: ALWAYS BE A HOSTAGE

Walking side by side in the corridor, neither of them broke the uncomfortable silence. They managed to escape from the Crown Prince so they could avoid further questioning, but neither of them eliminated the quietness between them.

Ever since they stepped out of the great hall of the palace, there seemed to be some tension between them. They didn't argue with each other like usual, but they looked bothered by their thoughts. But maybe the things that troubled them weren't the same.

Princess Ievna was disturbed by the fact that she had to relive the memory of how her parents died before her eyes, and it felt like reopening old wounds. Even if fourteen years had passed, the image of her parents crying before they screamed in pain as the fire burned them kept flashing through her mind whenever she spoke of them.
