บท 299: Gift for Nathan

At 10.00 pm, Nathan had not yet regained consciousness. Casey was still faithfully waiting for him by sitting in a chair with a changed appearance because she had taken a shower and was wearing the clothes that Esme and Kate had brought to visit Nathan...However, Esme and Katy had gone home, so it was only her, Paulina, and Diana who accompanied her to take care of Nathan.

"Honey, why aren't you awake yet? Don't scare me... Don't you want to see the gift I'm about to give you? Don't you miss me?" Casey wondered as she gently gripped his right hand and kissed it once in a while.

"Casey," Paulina called.

Casey turned to glance at Paulina who came up to her, then turned to glance at her mother-in-law who was asleep on the couch.

"Looks like I have to go because I'm not feeling well," said Paulina with an uncomfortable look.
