บท 133: 131 -=Kaede in Konoha=-

As Kaede walked around Konoha, she found, or was found by, Hinata
Hinata who approached her and instantly said
"We need to talk" To which Kaede nodded, but not before saying
"Ok, but stop using your see-through vision on me"
"W-What are you talking about?!" Hinata exclaimed, how could Kaede know*Cough* I mean, why would she say that?
"You know it's me, and I'm masked, duh~" Kaede explained, making Hinata sigh
"We still need to talk" She changed the topic
"Okay, but follow me" Kaede said before grabbing Hinata's hand and dragging her somewhere
Hinata wanted to take her hand away, ask what Kaede was doing or something, but as soon as she touched her hand she noticed something
"We are being watched..." She said in a low voice
"I know, just pretend you can't tell" Kaede said in a happy tone, her labial reading saying something about missing talking with Hinata
who was watching her? an Anbu? Sasuke stalker? Luna creepy?
None of the above... also, Luna? what the fuck is that option?...
Anyway, it was fan favorite Old monke Hiruzen, who had nothing to do, so he was always using his crystal ball when he wasn't training Naruto
Keeping some fake conversation going, Kaede and Hinata went to the hot springs, where Hiruzen stopped looking at them
he is a pervert, but he isn't Orochimaru, he has no interest in kids
"What was that all about?" Hinata asked Kaede, who was right beside her in the changing room, but when she looked at her she was stunned
'She changed already? how?' in less than a second Kaede was already in bathing clothes, which was too fast for someone who couldn't use chakra
"That was old man Hiruzen watching us, I'm quite the celebrity nowadays, you know?" Kaede said, stretching her arms, eyes closed
"How do you know who it was?" Hinata asked
any properly brainwashed ninja would go running to tell this to the Hokage, but Hinata was not too keen about Konoha, her new eye could see a lot of things she couldn't before, and you all know that anything that is not the surface peace of Konoha is dark and disgusting in this village
I'm not going to list all the things she saw, but just one is enough for you to know what I mean
what would a Hyuga think if they saw every Uchiha corpse in the cemetery missing its eyes?
Nothing fun, that's for sure
it wouldn't help that Hyugas are the only dojutsu users in Konoha, now that the uchiha clan is barely existing...
Anyway, Hinata asked how Kaede know it was Hiruzen, but instead of answering, Kaede just opened her eye slightly, revealing her dojutsu
Hinata looked at that with a widened mouth for a second, before saying
"So you are lying?" She asked, completely incredulous
It's not that she doubted Kaede's capabilities, but lying to the whole village? that's quite something...
"I'm not, I never said I couldn't use chakra, they read my mind, not my fault they got this wrong"
Kaede's words made Hinata immediately have another crazy thought
"You can... control what they saw?" She asked, even more surprised
but that made sense, if they read her mind, which was obvious they would, why would they not ask Hinata why she didn't talk about Kaede's visit? why would they not confront her about her Dojutsu? it all makes sense now
"Yeah, that is quite easy, really
want me to teach you?" Kaede said, smiling
"Can you?" Hinata was, once again, surprised, she thought this was some super-secret method or something... which was a logical thought, but not for Kaede
"Of course, but it will take a while, so I will teach you what to do, and you do it daily, ok?" Kaede said, she wasn't going to give Hinata a skill as that is not something she can without using a TON of chakra, which would obviously alert everyone in the nearby villages, let alone Konoha...
"Ok, what do I need to do?" Hinata asked, expectant
one of her fears since the day she talked with Kaede and gained her dojutsu was to have her mind read
"Close your eyes, don't use your dojutsu, and calm down your breathing" Kaede said, suddenly having some glasses on her face
well, she was trying to look more like a teacher, but Hinata wasn't looking, and she wasn't dressed like one... so I'm not sure why she did that
Hinata followed her instructions
Kaede went behind Hinata, and lightly pressed her fingers on some of Hinata's tenketsus, which made Hinata jump away blushing
"K-Kaede?"
"What? I was just helping...
ohh, I see" As Kaede said that, Hinata's blush got even stronger
"...You don't like to have someone touch your skin" Hearing Kaede's surprisingly not teasing answer, Hinata was at first confused, but seeing her face she thought
'She isn't lying...'
So she answered
"Y-Yeah... I'm not used to it, that's it..."
"Hn, hn... I see
well then, let me just tell you the tenketsus you should press, you can use a clone to do it..." Kaede said and then went to explain the tenketsus she should press
being a Hyuga, Hinata had a lot of familiarity with those points, even more so after learning under Tsunade for a while
At some point, they had already entered the hot springs, and so Kaede went on and on talking about a lot of things with Hinata
Hinata was actually the closest thing she had to a friend in this village, followed close by Shizue, but she couldn't be so free when talking with Shizue since she was not sure if she was loyal to the leaf or not... their common point of being overprotective older siblings also made them closer

Kaede walked around Konoha for a bit, searching for a convenient job, one which wouldn't be too hard and would grant her some entertainment as well
and since she is the main character, she knew one of such jobs was current in the village, that's just how plot works
And look and behold, it didn't take her long to see something surprising
"Teuchi is reforming his stand? Isn't it a bit too soon for that?"
True, in the original timeline Teuchi only made his stand a full-fledged restaurant after 20 or so YEARS from the current time
"Yeah, he thoughts it was a good idea, since no one is going to destroy Konoha now" Ayame's voice sounded from behind Kaede, but she didn't react much to it
"I see, that makes sense" She answered
"Tch, can't you at least act scared?" Ayame pouted in annoyance, freaking otherworlders and their nonexistent common sense
not that acting scared is common sense, but she needs something to complain about, no?
"Anyway, so you guys have any jobs that I can do?" Kaede asked, knowing that the Ichiraku is a hot spot for drama, either something interesting happens there, or someone does something funny there, it's always like this
"You could help us build the restaurant with your skills" Ayame joked
"Sorry, I can't use chakra now *Sniff sniff* that bad slime Rimuru took my chakra" Kaede joked as well
"My, my... how naughty of him, I'll help you if he tries to bully you again" Ayame said, giggling
"Anyway, any jobs?" Kaede brought the conversation back to its tracks, as they walked towards the Ichiraku, Ayame had a bag of fruits in her hands, probably she was just buying stuff when she saw Kaede
"Hmm, I think I can ask if there is something for you, this should be fun~" Ayame said, having a good feeling about this
(A/N: I noticed that It's a lot easier for me to write this shorter chapter-in-chapters than normal chapters for some reason... what do you guys think about it? give me some feedback if I should do more of those or try to make more of the 'normal' ones)
