บท 66: Chapter 62: Looming Threats
(3rd Person: POV)
As the bounties of the Thanatos Pirates rose several individuals took notice.
Though for the Thanatos Pirates it was not attention they wanted to receive by a long shot.

West Blue: Kano Country
Sitting in his office he was granted as the supreme commander of the Happo Navy Don Chinjao stared at his desk, an angry expression on his face as he looked at the bounty posters of the Thanatos pirates.
"So, those brats are now in the Grand Line eh." Chinjao mused.
He then put a savage grin on his face, and his beard started standing up.
"Just you wait for me you damn brats, soon you'll come to know what true terror is." Chinjao mused. "Hiyahohoho!!" Releasing a terrifying laugh after he did so.

West Blue: 69th Marine Branch
Sitting in his office Harlock's hands trembled in anger as he looked at the new bounty posters of the Thanatos Pirates.
He directed a particular anger towards Roberts, since the captain of the Thanatos Pirates had given Harlock a jagged scar across his face.
It served as a constant reminder of the day he failed to capture them.
Now seeing their new bounties Harlock felt even worse.
"If only I had stopped them back then. They wouldn't have been able to cause any more terror." Harlock mused.
Since like most marines he was taught that the higher a pirates bounty was the more crimes they had comitted.
Which is usually true.
But what Harlock had no idea of knowing was that the Thanatos pirates barely committed any violent crimes at all.
At least against innocent civilians that is.
They have no issues committing crimes against other pirates and the marines when necessary or they feel like it.
But back to the point.
The Thanatos Pirates aren't as bad as their bounties make them out to be. Yet Harlock has no way of knowing this.
The marine captain continued staring at the bounty posters of the Thanatos Pirates for quite some time, until eventually he stopped.
Once Harlock did so he immediately grabbed a transponder snail sitting on his desk and began contacting Navy HQ
To request an immediate transfer to the Grand Line.
Since the way Harlock saw it the Thanatos Pirates were his responsibility, and he wanted to clean up his mess personally.
"Just you wait Thanatos Pirates. Justice is coming for you." Harlock spoke.
A determined look in his eyes as he did so.

Navy Headquarters
In an office at Navy HQ sat a woman.
She was beautiful with tan-skin, deep green eyes, short-dark blonde hair, and massive boobs that a person could use as a pillow without any trouble.
The markings on her marine justice coat signifies her rank as that of a marine rear-admiral.
This rear-admiral's name is Harribel.
A close personal friend of Gion's. As well as the direct superior officer of the Three Beasts.
Looking down at the top of her desk Harribel stared at the bounty posters of the Thanatos Pirates she had spread out across it. A cold and murderous glint in her eyes as she did so.
After learning what happened to her subordinates, Gion, and the forces under her command after they encountered the Thanatos Pirates a few weeks ago Harribel wanted to blood.
But do to the obligations she had to fulfill as a rear-admiral and the relatively low threat-level the Thanatos Pirates were deemed her request to pursue them was denied.
However in that regard things were slowing beginning to change.
Her subordinates while injured managed to survive their battle with the Thanatos Pirates, and once they were fully healed gave a report on the capabilities of this new and young pirate crew. Which included the fact they not only knew the Rokushiki but haki as well.
Combined with Gion's own report about the incident this caused the navy to raise the threat level of the Thanatos Pirates and issue them new bounties.
Though not ones too high since the Navy didn't want to turn the Thanatos Pirates into some sort of beacon for new and young pirates.
Moving on.
Now that the threat level of the Thanatos pirates had been raised Harribel was quite certain she would now be given permission to pursue the young pirate crew.
And once she found them Harribel would collect her pound of flesh.
As well as wipe out the Thanatos pirates with predujice.
"Enjoy your days while you can Thanatos Pirates. They are numbered." Harribel said.
She then gathered up all the Thanatos Pirates bounty posters and pinned them to her office wall using knives. Putting them right through the faces of those she now considered her targets.

Germa Kingdom: Location Unknown
Sitting alone in the throne room of the Germa Kingdom Vinsmoke Judge held the bounty posters of the Thanatos Pirates in his grasp.
Looking at all of them as if they were simply filth on the bottom of his shoes.
All except for his bounty poster of his daughter Reiju.
Judge looked at it with a confused expression on his face.
Since he simply couldn't understand why Reiju would be traveling with such a pirate group.
Judge had ran several different scenarios through his head ever since he learned Reiju was in fact alive and not dead like his son Yonji had told him.
Speaking of Yonji he was severely punished for lying to his father about his sisters "death". So anyway...
No matter how much he tried to come up with an answer to his question Judge couldn't.
Which in turn lead his mind down a path with a simple solution.
Kill all of the Thanatos Pirates and bring Reiju back home to learn why she had decided to travel with them.
In Judges mind this was now the only course of action to take.
Crumbling up the bounty posters of all the Thanatos Pirates except for Reiju's Judge threw them to te ground.
A second after he did so Judge pulled a den den mushi from inside his chest pocket and dialed a particular number.
The moment after he did so the den den mush began ringing.
"Pereperepere...Pereperepereperepere...Pereperepere.."
*Clack*
Until finally it stopped ringing and connected with the den den mushi on the other end who Judge was trying to call.
"Yes." A distorted voice spoke on the den den mushi.
"I have a job for you. Money is no issue." Judge said.
"I need details and half the payment up front." The distorted voice replied.
"Fine." Judge replied.
Since if the person he was contacting could kill the Thanatos Pirates and retrieve his daughter for him without causing an incident that involved his kingdom directly he would follow their rules.
As Judge and the unknown person exchanged information they both had no clue they had just signed their future death warrants.
The same with all the other people that were gunning for the Thanatos Pirates.
All of them would soon learn not to mess with this particular pirate crew.
For in doing so it meant you were basically forfeiting your life.

A/N: I wanted to do a bit of foreshadowing of things to come. These chapters won't happen often but they will occur. Just like introspection chapters.
