บท 112: Ch 90 – Fight Between Two Gods 2
"Whew," said Dahsoo with a groan as he lay down Jinho on the chair between him and Jinah's as both Haerin and Jinah looked at him with impressed eyes.
"Huh, to think you guys have already developed your quirks that much," said Jinah with a raised eyebrow.
"Groan" responded Dahsoo as he plopped down on the chair and closed his eyes, ignoring whatever Jinah said to him.
"So, I guess we are going next," said Haerin as the both of them looked at the wrecked stadium while Elemental Prince and King Slime hurriedly went to fix the arena.
"Good luck," said Jinah.
"Good luck," said Haerin with a nod as they waited for the arena to be fixed so they can do their own fight.
(A Few Minutes Later)
"May student Sung Jinah and Chae Haerin go to the stage!" shouted Empress of Light to the mic as the both of them instantly stood up and walked towards the Arena.
And as the both of them got on top of the stage, they looked at each other with resolute eyes.
"Are both contestants ready!" shouted Empress of Light as she secretly cheered on for her sister.
"Mmm," said Jinah with a nod while crouching on the ground, preparing to go into a full-on sprint.
"Yes," said Haerin as her hair started to float in the air while sparks crackled from her hands.
"START!!!" shouted Empress of Light and the moment those words were uttered, a sonic boom and a flash of light appeared from the two as their epicenters with ice instantly covering the floor while a figure was seen hastily flying into the air.
"Ora!" shouted Jinah's voice from somewhere outside the Arena as there are no boundaries for the fight while the audience saw a huge pressure of wind shooting towards Haerin's flying figure.
"Ha!" shouted Haerin as the air oncoming towards her was stopped by a shield of wind but that wasn't the end as booms after booms were heard all around the gigantic stadium with cylindrical bullets of wind pressure was continuously being shot towards Haerin's figure from Jinah's rapidly moving figure with after images being left all over the place.
"Ice Age!" shouted Haerin as ice-cold air hastily shot out of her body as the epicenter that went on to spread all around the arena as Jinah's figure was finally seen having droplets of sweat falling from her head.
"Whew," said Haerin while wiping a bit of the sweat that was on her forehead and looked at Jinah's smirking face and also responded with a smirk.
"Ha!" shouted Haerin as clouds started to form on her hand and surprisingly, a bolt of lightning shot out of her hand that rapidly went towards Jinah who dodge it with ease, moving only an inch on where the lightning struck.
Then as if they were in a truce, Jinah swung her fist forward that produce a cylindrical beam of air that Haerin blocked with ease.
"Sigh, you've really grown since last time," said Jinah with a proud smile as she stretches her legs around.
"Me too, I'm impressed your wind pressure is already that strong," said Haerin as she stretched her arms around.
"Well let's get a bit serious shall we," said Jinah with a wide smirk.
"We shall," said Haerin and before the crowd could even comprehend what was happening, a barrier of the elements appeared around Haerin and saw a series of sonic booms appearing on the air that shot towards Haerin in an instant as magically, Jinah was somehow on the air running but at less drastic speeds compared to when she was on the ground, probably relying on the actual booms to propel herself in the air just like Dahsoo with his explosions.
"Ha!" shouted Jinah as she rapidly struck the barrier of elements that consist of numerous layers and one by one, all of them broke in an instant with her rapid barrages but that brought enough time for Haerin to create a surprise attack.
As the final barrier finally was destroyed, Jinah saw a source of light that blinded her eyes for a second and didn't know what was happening but as if sensing the danger, she hurriedly flew away byyusing the minute sonic booms she made with her body and dodged the non-fatal beam of fire as she hurriedly rubbed her eyes and gained vision on what was happening.
'Tsk, close combat won't help me with the annoying barrier that can instantly form around her before I could even reach her with my areal speed, that means' thought Jinah as she decided that she needs enough speed to create strong enough wind beams that could break through her defenses and hit her.
'The ice!' thought Jinah as she hurriedly grabs some broken chunks of ice and took a deep breathe while looking at the slow moving Haerin in the air once again surrounded by a barrier of earth, air, fire, water, and electricity that just increases in range and power the more she lefts her alone to amass power.
'Where can I run?' thought Jinah as she hurriedly looked around the ice arena where she can amass enough speed to destroy those barriers.
'The barrier!' thought of Jinah as she saw the barrier Aegis made and knew what to do.
So with that, she hurriedly created a series of booms below her legs and used it to propel herself towards the wall and started to run at a speed she considers a bit serious.
And as the audience saw a figure landing on the side of the barrier, they saw Jinah running at supersonic speeds and continuously throwing chunks of ice that further divided into many chunks rapidly destroying Haerin's barrier but she responded back by rapidly shooting out bullets of the elemental natures like a bullet hell game as Jinah dodge them just barely each time.
After a while, they got into a stalemate as Jinah run out of ice that melted from the bullets of fire that Haerin sent and Haerin quickly got exhausted in response.
And as if they knew that it was time to end this, Jinah stopped her running and landed on the ground to look at the floating Haerin eye to eye.
"Let's end this already," said Jinah with a smirk as her muscles tensed up, especially her thicc muscular legs that could choke a person to death.
"Mmm," said Haerin while sparks, orbs of waters, chunks of dirt, spheres of air, and flaming wisp started to appear around her body as their eyes glowed in a shine indescribable to many as finally, they were about to go all out while the crowd watched in anticipation.
"Goddess of Nature" muttered Haerin and the crowd watched in shock as the dirt, the sunlight, the moisture from the air, the air itself, and more started to converge around her as the core with the appearance of a goddess soon appearing made out of the elements themselves, with the body of dirt, fire, water, light, electricity and more as if Mother Nature's incarnate has appeared.
But Haerin was not alone as Jinah said something shocking that everyone heard, and it was.
"Vector Control" muttered Jinah and soon, her hair started to float upwards from the sheer pressure she exudes as a Goddess of Nature looks at Jinah with shining eyes.
"ROAR!" shouted the Goddess of Nature who controlled the dirt around Jinah's and shake it to mess her balance while also creating a miniature tornado around her as Aegis's barrier started to crack from the sheer prowess she was producing, rivaling the power exerted by both Dahsoo and Jinho from before who was watching the match with shining eyes.
"Heh," said Jinah with a smirk as the ground stopped shaking, the wind stopped howling, the clouds stopped rumbling as they fought a battle of dominance over the control of the world.
"Ha!" shouted Jinah who started to control the elements herself by using her newfound power they awakened a few weeks ago and started to fight Haerin, the now Goddess of Nature as they exerted all they have while the energy they consumed was astronomical.
"Ora!" shouted Jinah as she amplified the vectors of her punch that sent out a huge cylindrical beam of wind that blew a hole on the Goddess's chest but that wasn't enough as it quickly retaliated and shook the ground around her, increased and decreased the temperature, took out the moisture from the air and created a barrier of water while also taking out the air, quickly entrapping her in a vacuum that was a bit strange but it works.
'Shit' thought Jinah as she quickly redirected the barrier of water out of the way and managed to suck in a bit of air that she use to rapidly destroy the barrier of water around her and run away in a split second and looked around the near-immortal Goddess of Nature as she was sure Haerin's wasn't even inside the construct, heck, she might not even be inside the arena and is just watching her fight the titan with ridicule but good for her, that was against the rules and the contestants need to be physically inside the stadium and that was her only saving grace and she only has one shot left, to either attack the boundless sky or abyssal earth.
And she knows how Haerin acts and looked at the air above air but saw no sight of Haerin's floating body but she was sure, she was probably high above the clouds or way below the ground watching her suffer with a ridiculing smile.
"Tsk, I can't believe I will rely on luck but her control over nature is too powerful to contend, so this is it I guess" muttered Jinah as she stopped in her tracks as the Goddess of Nature looks at her with a raised eyebrow.
"Oh, giving up already?" said the Goddess in a teasing voice, and that instantly confirmed her suspicions, Haerin was indeed not inside the Goddess.
"*Deep breaths*, I can't believe you force me to rely on luck to win," said Jinah to the titan.
"Oh, it seems you found out my little plan, I sadly can't go outside the barrier and just have a hundred percent chance to win, so decide! Either up or down! Heaven or Hell! Decide Jinah, go decide your fate in this coin flip of destiny that shall shake the world itself!" shouted the Goddess as she smiled in her mind at how chuuni Haerin became after she fell in love with Dahsoo.
"FUCK YOU HAERIN AND YOUR BROKEN QUIRK!" shouted Jinah as she jumped high above the air at sonic speeds and gathered all of the energy she could muster and controlled the vectors surrounding her and with a fading consciousness, she punched the sky high above her and with all the energy she gathered, it created a boom that sent her downwards while sending a large cylindrical beam of air that she controlled to not affect the barrier that protects the civilians and on her way down, saw the light on the Goddess's eyes fading away and knew, by pure chance, she managed to win by sending a beam of air towards Haerin residing high above the clouds.
"Jinah!" shouted Dahsoo from the ground as in a blitz, he arrived before her falling figure while she saw Jinho flying towards the air making a bug net of sorts, and manage to caught Haerin who was unconscious and full of bruises and was bleeding all around her body.
"Phew," said Dahsoo as he put her on the ground while Jinho landed beside them in his shining silver armor with metallic wings.
"I guess we're going to the finals Dahsoo," said Jinah to Dahsoo who chuckled at her while they reminiscence some stuff.
"Sigh, just like the start, we first knew each other and now we're the only two left, kinda poetic if you think about it," said Dahsoo who lifted both Haerin and Jinah off the ground.
"Yes yes," said Jinah as she felt the pain spreading all around her body.
"W- winner! S- SUNG JINAHHHHHH!!!!!" shouted Empress of Light in shock at how destructive the both of them were, the Goddess of Nature, the ability to control Vectors, who would have expected that those two simple quirks have so much potential in them, the readers for sure didn't expect that plot twist from their dearest author and their ginormous brain.
