บท 102: Ch 86 – Light Spar
(A Few Days Later)
A few days have passed since Dahsoo's big reveal towards Haerin and Jinho and now, many things have changed in the quartet's dynamic. They all started to tease Dahsoo for his little hobby and job on the internet, especially Jinah and Jinho as their bonds have once again reinforced with their friendship now stronger than ever before.
In front of Dahsoo's house, Dahsoo's figure was seen heading outside wearing the Seoul High uniform as he started to walk in front of the mansion beside him which is Haerin's residence and saw a black car nearing the gate as he waved hello towards it.
Soon, the gates opened with the car stopping right beside him with the door opening, beckoning him to enter the car as he accepted the invite and was greeted with Haerin sitting inside the car browsing through her phone.
"Good morning" said Dahsoo to Haerin as he sat beside her and also took out his own phone.
"Good morning" said Haerin with a smile as her previous cold demeanor has already melted away with the time they spent together as she got more confident and comfortable with him.
"Are you ready for the sports festival tomorrow?" said Dahsoo while Haerin subtly nudge over towards him.
"I'm not that worried" said Haerin with a smile.
"Well we still have this final day to train, did you make any ultimate moves yet?" said Dahsoo.
"I'm almost finished with it" said Haerin.
"So what do you call it? You've been keeping it a secret from us" said Dahsoo.
"Don't worry, I'll show it to you guys today" said Haerin.
"Nice, if you want, I can help you at making the name" said Dahsoo.
"Why not" said Haerin with a chuckle.
"Nice!" said Dahsoo as he suddenly hugged her into a tight embrace that took her by surprise but she also hugged him back.
"H- hey Dahsoo" said Haerin as Dahsoo let go of the hug.
"Hmm?" said Dahsoo.
"I- I- its nothing" said Haerin.
"Mkay, but if you want to say something just say it to me" said Dahsoo with a smile.
"Okay, I'll say it to you at the end of the semester" said Haerin.
"Really?" said Dahsoo.
"Really" said Haerin.
"Sure, and don't worry about it, if you need help with something I'll try my best to help you" said Dahsoo.
"Yeah, it will be a surprise for sure" said Haerin with a smile.
Soon, they encountered Jinah and Jinho along the way and took them inside the car as they grabbed some juice from the mini-fridge.
"You guys wanna do a light spar today? It should give us more experience for the sports festival tomorrow" said Jinho.
"Why not, but what I want is a celebratory feast tonight" said Jinah to Dahsoo as he sighed in response.
"Fine, I'll cook some food tonight" said Dahsoo.
"Nice!" said JInah and Jinho at the same time while Haerin chuckled from the side.
"Oh yeah, I drew this little thing last night, hope you guys like it" said Dahsoo as he showed them his little drawing as they gasped in surprise.
It showed them sitting on his couch together on a vast green field with a blue sky, with big wide smiles and cheerful eyes, it captured the joy of friendship and their strong bonds with each other as it brought them a wide smile.
"Wow!" said the trio in surprise while Dahsoo chuckled.
"Yeah, it took me a few hours to make so I wanted to ask for your permission to post this on Twatter and Pictogram" said Dahsoo.
"Sure" said Jinah with a smile.
"Why not" said Jinho.
"Mmm" said Haerin with a nod.
"Nice, but it's probably gonna give out more hints to who I am though" said Dahsoo with a wry smile.
"Don't worry about it, we'll cross that bridge when we have to face it" said Jinah.
"You're right, no one in our class even suspects he's Ai" said Jinho with a snort.
"Well he does look vastly different as Ai, how do you even do it anyway?" asked Haerin in confusion.
"I don't know, I guess I am getting into the character too well that my face somehow morphs" said Dahsoo with a chuckle.
"Or probably because you're cross-dressing too much that everyone thinks you're a girl" said Jinah.
"Hey, female clothes feel great okay" said Dahsoo.
"Uh-huh" said Jinah as they finally arrived in front of Seoul High.
"Thank you ahjussi! (uncle)" said the quartet to the driver as they got out of the car.
"Take care!" said the driver as he drove away leaving them alone in front of the school gate with them entering the campus along with other students from Seoul High as they directly went to the changing room.
"It's kinda fun like this, a full week without any learning and you can train at your own pace" said Dahsoo as they walked towards the changing room.
"Yeah, and we can also just loaf around if we want to, we don't even need to go to school" said Jinah as she stretched her body around.
"If you want to lose that is" said Jinho with a yawn as they finally arrived in front of the changing room.
Soon, they change their clothes and put on their sports uniform and headed outside at almost the same time as they walked towards their own little spot where they trained at for the previous week as the location was hidden so that others can't gather information about them.
"Yawn, it's time to train" said Dahsoo as she stretched his body around along with the others as they prepared for their little spar.
"You guys ready?" said Dahsoo while taking out a piece of twig from the ground with them standing in a cross position.
"Yeah" said the trio as he drops the twig towards the ground with the twig pointing at him and Jinho as their matches were decided.
"Mmm" said the quartet as they divided into two groups and went far away from each other with them preparing for their little spar.
"You ready?" said Dahsoo.
"Yeah" said Jinho as soon, the bullshit of his powers was seen as a shining silver armor enveloped his body with strange runic markings appearing all around it.
"You know, your quirk is kinda bullshit" said Dahsoo while a lightning sword appeared on his hand.
"It's not my fault I could actually create magical weapons and armor" said Jinho as metallic wings sprouted from his back.
"Heh, I guess it's time to use my very own ultimate move" said Dahsoo while taking out a coin from his pocket.
"Oh really? What are you gonna do? Shoot me with lightning?" said Jinho as a great sword appeared in his hand.
"Heh, just watch" said Dahsoo as he flicks his thumb with the coin flying into the air as Jinho rushed over to him at rapid speed while his visor glowed white.
"Rail" said Dahsoo as the coin started to slowly fall down in front of his outstretched hand as sparks started to appear between his hand and the coin while Jinho increased his flight speed towards him with his eyes glowing further in a white glow, as if the armor has a life of its own.
"Gun!" said Dahsoo as a beam of electricity shot out of his hand the same moment the coin landed in front of his hand as Jinho was one-shotted from the hit and crashlanded into the ground in front of him.
"A worthy opponent, but your demise was set in stone the moment you opposed the God of Lightning" said Dahsoo with the annoying voice line he always says when he defeats someone in a spar.
"Oh fuck you" said Jinho as his helmet vanish while they look beside them to see Jinah was on a ground covered in ice and snow and knew she accidentally tripped on ice and chuckled in ridicule.
AN: Oh how strange this arc has become once you realize that everything that is happening right now, from what the public sees him as, how his teachers and classmates view him, how his friends interacts with him, everything is like a carefully crafted story of a rom com slice of life overpowered mc bla bla bla, you know, this could be taken out of context and you would think that it's from a light hearted fanfic of MHA when it's the furthest from the truth, but this arc or should I say, this world ;) is important as fuck so that I can just show how big brain a person would be when they have the experience of a near infinite amount of people, and just know, everything that you have read up to this point is still not the full story, in this arc I mean, for the truth lies further ahead at the end of this arc.
The Sword of Damocles hangs above each and everyone one of you with its ever present threat of despair, so send me some power stones with your power of friendship and save the thousands perhaps even millions to come who will read this masterpiece immortalized in the tunnels of time.
