บท 2: Reincarnation

Dark, it's all dark I can't see anything else, I can't feel my body either. I want to scream but there is no sound coming out of my mouth. I was panicked and confused. I tried to recall the thing I remember. I'm Ethan Robinson LAPD Detective going undercover as a street racer to gain information and hopefully arrest Antonio the drug lord. I remember racing to gain a job from him, after winning the race I went home, but on my way, a truck crashed into my car then a person got out of the truck and shoot me. How does Antonio know I was an LAPD Detective?

While I'm thinking about all that, the darkness covering me suddenly changed into a white room. In this room, there is a wooden table with two chairs and a person is sitting there while gazing at me with an apathetic expression. While I sit opposite him.

"So, who are you, where am I, and why I'm here?" I am confused with this, I thought I will go to either Heaven or Hell.

"I am the Angel of Reincarnation, this is a place to decide whether you go to heaven or hell or reincarnation, the reason you're here is that you are dead."

"I'm dead huh, what is going to happen now? Will, I go to Heaven or Hell?"

"You are chosen to be reincarnated by God. You will get 3 wishes, and you have to spin this wheel to determine the world you will reincarnate. " The Angel said while conjuring a spinning wheel.

"So, God gave me a chance to be reincarnated huh, I want to spin the wheel first, it's okay right?"

"Of course Mr. Robinson, you can spin it first."

"Well then, wish me luck." I began to spin the wheel. The wheel start spinning for a while then stops at the combination Fast and Furious and John Wick Universe. I am satisfied with these choices because the F&F and John Wick worlds are just the same as my previous world, with a slight difference.

"Can you give me a moment to think about my wish?" Getting a nod from the Angel I began to think about the wishes.

--10 Minutes Later--

"Okay, I've already decided, for my first wish it is a high comprehension. The second is enhanced physical abilities, and lastly an inventory with a 10 square meters size. Can I also set my appearances and birth date?"

"Yes you can, it is one of the privileges God gave you." After Angel said that a screen appeared in front of me. I start to customize my appearance in adult form, after a while I completed customizing it. After that, I set my birthday to November 15, 1983.

"Okay, I'm finished."

"Very well, goodbye Mr. Robinson, and have a nice life." With a snap Angel sends me to the next world I'm going to live in.

On a dark rainy night, you can see a woman in her fifties walking through the street with an umbrella. Suddenly she stops and looked in a certain direction. In her direction, there was a box with an umbrella covering it, curiously she walked toward the box and carefully lift the umbrella, she see a baby boy somehow sleeping peacefully on this shivering cold night.

"Oh, poor baby, who is in the right mind leaving you in this kind of weather outside?" She said with a soft-sad voice.

She takes the baby and puts him in her arm. Then she calls the police to inform them about the abandoned baby. While waiting for the police to come by, she then thinks if she should adopt the baby. She is already married but cannot have a child it makes her sad and then her husband died while working on a construction site. It was devastating for her to lose her husband but she endured it.

"I want to adopt you, baby, I want to know how it feels to have a child?"

Then the police came and began to ask questions about the baby and herself. After that, they go to the police station to submit the report and call the state's Family and Child Services Department. For about ten minutes they questioned her again and tell her it is possible to adopt the child if they cannot find the parents. They will call her.

After that, she went home and resumed her activities while waiting for them to call.
