Shen Hanxing rolled down the car window that Ji Yan had just rolled up and said to Lu Jin, "The weather is very hot. Even if you're busy, you must take care of your health. Here, have some water to cool down."

Lu Jin was stunned. He was silent momentarily before taking the bottled water from Shen Hanxing. It had been in the fridge, so the cold bottle felt really nice to the touch on a hot summer day. She was extremely polite and distant, keeping a comfortable social distance from others so no one could get close to her. This made her action of giving him water particularly surprising.
