"14!" Knox and Maven ran in horror to the ship railings. They leaned over only to see the endless blue ocean with debris and some dead bodies of people already floating. However, there was no sight of Myrene anywhere.

"Knox, I'll leave this place to you for a while!"

Before Knox could even react, Maven already removed his boots and jumped in the cold waters of the sea to look for Myrene.

Boogsh! 

More sounds of destruction were heard followed by the shrill screams of the passengers. Knox steeled himself. He knew that Myrene was strong and even if the chances were that they rescued Maven most of the time, he knew that he was also strong. He would be able to take care of Myrene.
