บท 240: Ch 240: Fire Emperor

When Alex opened his eyes, he found himself in the body of an old man.

Finding out about this body, Alex could not help but curse in his heart. He remembered what Atticus told him before sending him to go through the Second Trial.

"I hope you will like the new body you are going to possess!"

These words were told by Atticus, and now, looking at the old man's body that he has possessed, Alex could not help but want to keep cursing Atticus.

Just like what happened when he was going through the first trial, the memories of the old man soon surged into his mind and he found out all about this world, about the war, and about the old man's background.

It turned out that this world was going through a long period of war now, the war between Humans and Demons.

Humans used to be the ruler of this world, however, everything changed when demons invaded this world from the abyss. These demons also controlled various demonic beasts to attack humans.
